Michael Kopech said he didn’t have it tonight and Pedro Grifol recognized that. As a competitor, Kopech wanted to continue but understands Grifol is looking at the “bigger picture” of the season.

Kopech said it’s “embarrassing” that he’s not pitching better or lasting longer.
