Step 1: go to White Sox.com Step 2: click on "view active roster" Step 3: Realize this is currently a minor league team plus Jose Abreu Step 4: Delete this thread Step 5: crack open a cold one and suck it up buttercup cuz Ricky is going nowhere fast.3 points

Lmao. This coming from the guy who was upset we weren't taking pitches instead of scoring runs.3 points

Interesting how the fans yelled and screamed about how they were sick and tired of the Bulls and the White Sox going for it every year and demanded that they do rebuilding instead, now they've seen what rebuilding is really like and they can't stand it. The moral is that you had better be careful what you wish for because you might just get it.2 points

Show respect. A coven is a group of witches and warlocks. Its Covey who, at least as far as I'm aware has no magical powers whatsoever.2 points

Just saw the replace of Skole's homer. I love the ritual of ignoring the guy at first then mobbing him in dugout. No matter what happens in his career he'll always remember homering in his debut.2 points

Yoan isn't even giving competitive at bats. Give him a day off tomorrow. He really needs to shorten his swing with 2 strikes.1 point

Gonzalez needs to get on a separate plane from this team on the way out of Cleveland. To a different destination. forever1 point

Gonzalez needs to be sent down immediately after this game.hes not even AAA quality.1 point

Gonzalez wouldn’t be on a big league roster on any team but the Chicago White Sox this year. It’s criminal how bad he is offensively...we just have to hope he doesn’t get injured somehow, or injure one of his teammates.1 point

I'm not a troll but I think you are one. Why troll? It's not fun and it worsens the board. Only somebody with rocks for brains would think we could ever get back in the pennant race. I guess we were in the race at 2-0, but that was about it for 2018. Cmon Sin City, go hit the Strip pools, especially the naked pool at Caesars. Why post on a beautiful holiday?1 point

Nightmare inning in all aspects maybe worst of year thus far1 point

This defense is killing our chances to get back in the pennant race. We need a sweep of this series and it's beginning to look like it ain't gonna happen.1 point

Just couldn’t get past recording two outs against Allen...and then couldn’t find a pitch to put away a professional contact hitter in Brantley. Whatever the result, Covey held his own until his defense let him down.1 point

Except for Engel, all of the Sox batters in the 4th inning took at least 3 pitches before swinging. Shows how with plate discipline you can both score runs and run up the pitch count.1 point

You're whining about stupid hitters when there are results ? Maybe scouting report said he throws 1st pitch meatballs. Stop showing your baseball ignorance. There's a lot more to hitting then waiting around and often batting averages are higher on 1st pitch swings.1 point

Kopech done. 6IP 3H 2ER 2BB 7SO. Looked good. Had one bad inning and a solo shot. When he executed pitches AAA hitters had no chance. HR came a pitch after he thought he had the guy punched out. Lead-off walk hurt him in the 5th.1 point

If you were paying attention in spring training Skole and Cordell were hitting really well. But in reality he hasn't shown much since being the Nationals Minor League player of the year in 2012 at high A ball. When he was 23 he tore his UCL and fractured a wrist in a collision at 1st base and he really hasn't done too well since then. He's a power hitting lefty 1B /DH type who has a good eye but also K's a lot. He's 28 now and basically your typical AAA player. He's hit much better in May for the Knights hitting .281 with 5 HR's and an .858 OPS. His splits are pretty equal against lefties and righties.1 point

https://www.baseball-reference.com/leagues/split.cgi?t=b&lg=MLB&year=2018#count::none *Note based on league average hitter of .722 OPS. To sort of simply things the league average hitter right now has a slash line of 194/203/297/500 when the pitcher is ahead. Moncada 164/164/315/497. But that sort of isn't the point a lot I want a better future for Moncada then league average. I mean 51% percent of the time he isn't even putting the ball in play.1 point

White Sox director of amateur scouting Nick Hostetler already knows who he wants to select with the team's top pick at No. 4 when the 2018 MLB Draft begins on June 4. "Yeah, I do," said Hostetler, who is now stationed in Chicago leading up to the Draft. "I have a pretty good feel on who I would like to take. I have a pretty good feel on everybody as a whole. All of our staff, [general manager] Rick [Hahn], [executive vice president] Kenny [Williams], [assistant general manager] Jeremy [Haber], [director of player development Chris Getz], guys who have seen players. "I feel pretty good about where we are at with it. The way I look at this is our order, what our order is. It's only four picks. So I have a pretty good feel of what our order is going to be barring anything crazy happening in the next 10 days. I'm pretty confident." "Pitcher or hitter is irrelevant at this point. Position is irrelevant at this point," Hostetler said. "Doesn't matter if we have it in the big leagues. Doesn't matter if we have a wealth in the Minors. Doesn't matter if we just drafted it. We are going to take the best guy regardless of position." https://www.mlb.com/whitesox/news/white-sox-pick-fourth-overall-in-2018-draft/c-2785249541 point
