Now I guess you know why people say the same about you. Overly negative or overly positive makes people wonder. I like overly positive better. I don't think batting . 280 is a reach. Last year he had 120 PA and hit .264 with a .331 OBP with the Sox. 40 steals is more of a reach. Very few nowadays steal 40. The stolen base is mostly out of vogue. In his Sox career he is 31 for 112 . That's .277 . OBP is .341 .4 points

Why do you even bother posting here? Literally everything you post is negative.3 points

Nate Jones has a career 3.12 ERA and 3.41 FIP. He was very, very, very good. Unfortunately his body didn't hold up its end of the bargain, and he may very well be done. The Sox won't be picking up his 2020 option at a $5.15M. But Nate has a provided a good deal of value to the Sox over the years.3 points

The Sox are now just two games out of the second wild card spot.2 points

6+ years of losing records will do that to a fan. It's not the nature of the Internet.2 points

I knew today I wouldn't have to make the winner's thread. That was one of the happier game threads I have seen in a while. 2 well pitched games in a row by the starters, McCann getting a lot of love. Enjoy it while it lasts.2 points

My twitter feed this offseason was full of guys who think they are brilliant wringing their hands over letting Narvaez and Smith go for McCann. So happy he is having a good season.2 points

Love it. Great baseball. Pen almost blew it but Colome with the 4 out save. Was great. Was beautiful. Billions and billions of likes. Best game ever. Except for the wooing. That needs to stop.2 points

Pitching, timely hitting and for once, defense. Baseball the way it should be played. And Giolito was simply outstanding.2 points

Suck it Cleveland....you can't stop James McCann, you can only hope to contain him.2 points

I literally said McCann is having my babies. Sox better offer him 350 million dollars over 10 years, and none of that incentive bullshit.2 points

Eh, the players play hard for him and seem to respect him . That's like 90% of the manager impact in baseball. His in-game strategy sucks, but in-game strategy really has such a negligible impact on a baseball game it's just not that important to me.2 points

LOL Cooper has completely revamped his delivery from a clearly broken delivery at the end of his time with the Nats. This place loves to blame the coaches for everything that goes wrong and every mistake made, but they won't even give credit for a guy who has been rebuilt from scratch.2 points

I believe the howling you hear is the mating call of the Clevelanders, who, once their rascals run out of battery life, cry into the night hoping some lonely wanderer will come rub their belly.2 points

Enough time has passed that he can adopt "Put it on the board." He grew up a Sox fan. Get Hawk's blessing.2 points

I've moved to "neutral". There are a lot of bad crews out there. I usually try and catch the out of town broadcast and the quality isn't great. Yesterday the Tribe's play by play guy made an incredibly cringe monologue on TA and "playing the right way". I had to mute it from the 2nd hand embarrassment. So relative to the rest of the league they are OK. Jason has def gotten better this year but FFS he needs to get a HR call. His calls are awful.2 points

Madrigal with the juiced baseball will hit 10+ homers a year, and that’s perfectly fine for someone who is above average in literally every other category.2 points

If Rutschman somehow magically falls to the Sox, parts of Soxtalk will somehow find a way to say it was a bad move because we'd have to sign him overslot, it didn't work out with Rodon, there has to be a reason the Royals and O's passed on him, etc.2 points

I normally complain about how much people complain about lineups and how it’s not really that big of a deal.........but oh my God2 points

And to think that just one month ago we would have laughed at McCann’s inclusion in this list. “McCann, lol, good one that’s funny...” 20% of the way into the season and he’s the current fWAR leader of all American League catchers.2 points

Probably, but he's got 2 hits and scored a pair of runs tonite. P.S. he's not Adam Engel.2 points

Tired of time line arguments with high schoolers. Sox took 3 college players in 2016, and carter kieboom, a high school pick, made it to the big leagues before all of em. You can't plan on the college player being up there in 3 years any more than a high schooler.2 points

I would have preferred Harper/Machado, Gio Gonzalez, and whatever minor league signings Hahn wanted to make. I didn’t see much point in signing a bunch of guys on one year deals if you didn’t land one of the two big names.1 point

Have any of you ever noticed how Rodon's motion has no follow through? He has always appeared to me to be throwing entirely with his arm. The finish to his delivery has never looked right. Maybe that is part of his problem.1 point

I’d like it to be Anderson, but he’s have to win a fan vote and iiiiiiiiiidk about that that happening. I’m going with Colomè1 point

Ok...I'll be Devil's Advocate here. 1st...everybody thought at the time acquiring Giolito, Lopez and Dunning was a ridiculously one-sided score at the time. It's not really Hahn's fault that for some reason Giolito and Lopez really hasn't developed as fast or even at all like most thought. So then you come down to...is it Cooper's fault? Is it Hahn's fault Dunning had to have TJ? Same with Kopech...not Hahn's fault he needed TJ as well. On the flip side....you have Cease who is going to be a star IMO...and when Kopech gets back he eventually will be as well. Hopefully that pushes Giolito and Lopez as well. Most figured when Eloy showed up it would push Moncada...and he hasn't disappointed. Yoan is quasi super star status right now IMO. We haven't even touched what Eloy can do yet...and he will rake. It's a matter of time. And let's not forget the young super star in waiting down in Birmingham either...Mr Luis Robert. So yeah...it sucks right now that the Sox haven't lived up to everyone's hopes and expectations...but a lot of this is hardly Hahn's fault. Not landing Manny...partially. Giving idiotic contracts to the likes of Jon Jay and Jones...yeah. But there really is a light at the end of the tunnel IMO. And last but not least...he really scored with the signing of McCann...who's been nothing short of spectacular so far. His only mistake was only making it a one year deal.1 point
-
TAs new legion of fans will see him voted in, IMO. Especially if he keeps hitting. Moncada and Abreu should get in on the bench at their current paces.1 point

Moral of the story . Keep El Pantera in CF. Fun Facts : El Pantera (In English, The Panther) is a Mexican television series released by Canal 5. It is based on a comic book of the same name. It narrates the life of Gervasio, a young man who fights crime in Mexico City. The title role is performed by Luis Roberto Guzmán. Notice the actor's name who plays the Panther1 point

Get him TJ and trade him immediately after his first start back in the big leagues. He is a walking injury, just like Nate Jones.1 point

The only thing the White Sox have had too much of, ever, has been bad. Too many bad players, too many bad coaches, managers, and executives.1 point

Your hate of Abrams because you want to box him into some KW failed prospect archetype is so lazy. Even your attempts to try and "SEE! Typical KW Pick" by showing his glowing scouting reports and your consistent misunderstanding of his hit tool is beyond misunderstanding so I just have to assume you are trolling at this point.1 point
