Lol complete nonsense. Your anti madrigal stuff is nauseating at this point. The CF'er took a slightly rounded path to the ball but he did not break in, nor was he slow to break off the bat. He took a route that wasnt 100% efficient but he has good speed and really had no wasted movement in. On balls hit right at you in center, you will naturally take a rounded route because of the angle the ball is coming at you. Was it a perfect route? No. Was it a route that a lot of centerfielders including big leaguers take to that ball? Absolutely.10 points

And just so we can all chuckle at Jack’s overreaction a bit more, Vaughn has a wRC+ of 140 at W-S despite a .282 BABIP. He also has more walks than strikeouts.5 points

Jack needs to cool it in the MiLB threads. I have been saying it since they drafted him and I will repeat. Vaughn is in Chicago next July health permitting.4 points

This Bill Walton broadcast should be saved for all posterity. Bill Walton has had so many crazy, zany, wonderful lines. He's been all over the map while exuding pure joy at watching the White Sox play. He's had so many memorable, amazing lines it's just hard to believe. This is the best broadcast of all timer (OK hyperbole) but this is special!!!!!3 points

Bill's mind was blown wide open long ago. I think at a Dead concert in '91. One of several Dead concerts Bill was at that year.3 points

I think we're asking for people to not say negative things about the guy after he hits an inside the park homer - negative things that were just wrong to begin with.3 points

I bet he's really enjoyed those "lines" too over the years.2 points

Saying that Eloy sucks at defense is the truth, not a hot take.2 points
-
Bingo, vile hoopster is dead wrong here. Eloy’s bat will be very good. His defense sucks and costs runs. He gets injured playing LF with his glove on his head. Therefore, why wouldn’t you want him to DH?2 points
-
No stat will ever convince me of that, having watched most of his games. He is awful. Misreads the ball off the bat, takes poor routes to the ball, obviously has no quickness or makeup speed to get to a ball that he has already misplayed, and has the worst outfield arm in the majors. He is a DH, period. And that’s fine, at least he won’t injure himself in the outfield again. Two times is enough for one season.2 points

Yeah I’m not really concerned about any of em. Draft years are a bit boring. Think about how much life change these guys are dealing with. Vaughn has moved 3 times.2 points

WTF? Vaughn has like an .860 OPS in High A after playing a college season. He's fine and will and should start in AA.2 points

Society is very mean right now. Sports are very "what have you done for me lately" right now. Jose Abreu is everything that's right with sports and specifically White Sox baseball.2 points

His wRC+ is 140. Leagues matter Jack. He's actually been really unlucky on his way to that 140 too.1 point

If you’re worried about Vaughn’s minor league performance thus far, you’d be having a panic attack with what Rutschman has done thus far.1 point

I accept the moniker "Abreunik" gladly. Bring it on. I'm a proud Abreunik baby. No doubt I am.1 point

Angels announcers raving about Abreu's play there. My gosh I love that guy (in a true baseball sense; what a pro).1 point

having to watch mlb.tv is brutal right now. Its a whole game of Benetti making wise crack jokes. The worst part is you can't hear Ozzie during this inning and its him just being awkward not even talking about the game. Christ..1 point

Why even post this? It's like you are legit asking for an argument.. a silly one at that.1 point

Even if this wasn’t his draft year, why would you be concerned? He’s played a whopping 13 games in A+ with an OPS of .842, and he has more walks than strike outs.1 point

Nova appears to have turned it around. Might as well keep him around next year to see if he's dominant with the Sox after adjusting one season. That's a nice job last night by Nova.1 point
