Coming from the guy who gave us such hot takes as Yolmer is a really good player, Alonso is solid, Abreu cannot hit for a decent average anymore then he hits .356 the next month, and moving Moncada to 3B is stupid, it is ironic that you of all posters, would claim others have no idea what they are following. You definitely love yourself though, I will give you that.4 points

When someone humbles themselves by asking a question in this forum...any question...they would like an answer. They don't need to hear that it's a stupid question or that any good fan knows the answer. It's an effort to be superior or in my opinion bully. The poster used the term "any halfway tuned in fan for at least a few years" and that sounds a lot like he thinks very well of himself. Gregg, since you take a fair amount of heat from some of these site bullies...I would think you would recognize their tactics. Many good posters no longer post because 3 or 4 know it all posters take these aggressive postures.3 points

I love how when Giolito talks about what changed for him this year, not once did he mention something Don Cooper said or did for him. Sox coaching staff is a tire fire. Outdated and way behind the times.2 points

So according to Steverson, Eloy doesn’t have to change much because of the success he had in AAA. God is this organization stupid, and it’s no surprise why so many guys struggle out of the gate. https://chicago.suntimes.com/platform/amp/white-sox/2019/9/2/20845300/eloy-jimenez-batting-245-with-22-homers-says-hes-going-to-be-better?__twitter_impression=true2 points

Honestly was the dumbest reason to get thrown out I've seen in quite some time. He was clearly wrong.2 points

Hes a terrible defender and ranks at the bottom of most advanced defensive metrics.2 points

I do, you can't tell me 31 or 32 year old Matt Skole should be getting AB's over Yermin or Collins. He's really bad and baseball old. AAA season is over so prioritizing that over seeing what you have for MLB talent can't be an excuse anymore. Teams drop guys around this time every year.1 point

It's gonna take new ownership and the previous regime gutted out.1 point

A front line manager with his own hand picked coaches would have us all feeling better about the rebuild. Watching bad baseball night after night is getting old.1 point

I'm being to think that not even talent can overcome some of the deficits that this organization has.1 point

I don't think a poster on an online message board telling you to fuck off has anything to do with the lack of success from this orginization.1 point

Every time Fulmer looks like he might be figuring it out, he goes and gives up a crooked number. I'd rather just DFA him than bring him to ST in 2020. He won't do anything here.1 point

Meanwhile, Gavin Lux batting 8th for the Dodgers tonight. Yes, I know, different circumstance. I would have had Robert and Madrigal up a month ago.1 point

He had the surgery in the spring. IIRC hernias take about 2 months to recover from That's why I said it's weird because maybe this has to do with his anxiety again. I think they believed he'd be good to go all along1 point

The claim that he is selling out for power is also curious, as he still has one of the lowest k rates on the team. The only players on the 2019 White Sox lower are Alonso and TA, each .3 % below, which is 3 more per 1;000. And Jon Jay.1 point

Somehow they put those on a scoreboard and whatever team has the most RBIs in a game wins. They haven't done that for WAR yet.1 point

GMs are a bunch of nerds. Who cares what they think? Give me ball players over nerds. I'd love to pound on some nerds right now tbh.1 point

Who gives a shit? lol. I don't remember what was talked about during broadcasts much in 2017 either. What if... GOD FORBID... the OP is trying to learn? Startling thought! Isn't it? Get over yourself... Eww. Talk about douche chills. This has been a disgusting display. Imagine for a moment if somebody asked this question to you in person and you responded in this manner. It would totally expose the absurdity of what you are doing. The only way it would be semi-excusable, is if you were autistic. Maybe you are... nothing wrong with that, by the way.1 point

"No offense, but I'm about to say some REAL arrogant, snot-nosed bull shit to you... right now. Despite the fact that you are humbly asking a question, my response is about to demean the shit out of you as a baseball fan. My superiority will be demonstrated. Remember... no offense, though! "1 point
-
Did you ever notice that people who start a sentence "no offense" intend to be offensive. I have never heard the broadcasters explain where the data comes from and how it is collected and how many people does it take to do that. Saying it comes from MLB doesn't say much.1 point
