Not sure if posted, but by fangraphs WAR (fWAR), Moncada is the best baseball positional player in Chicago.2 points

I searched for another thread and didn't find it. Apparently, Renteria didn't understand what the umps were asking re: his challenge of Narvaez's "homer" last night and didn't challenge, a move that cost the Sox the game. Is he on pain meds? How stupid. Also, the 8th today where he let's a spent Hector put 3 guys on and then plays musical relievers for like 45 minutes was unwatchable.1 point

of course its not all in Renteria. But that doesn't mean he isn't terrible.. because he is.1 point

Renteria is a horrible in game manager, from lineup construction to bullpen usage. He needs replaced1 point

You're right. Some blame has to fall on Jose Abreu. His abysmal defense sets a bad precedence for the younger players by the so-called "leader".1 point

I've always thought that this so called rebuild has not been taken seriously by the Owner and management. This has always rubbed me as if the team wins, fine and if they lose, so what. As long as the owners are making money I don't think they really care if this team starts winning. Still, this has gotten to the point where some changes have to be made. After Saturdays night loss Renteria should be fired ASAP. The White sox lost on a walkoff home run that wasn't a home run. All Renteria had to do was challenge the play and the replay clearly showed it was not a home run. Even the White Sox TV announcers confirmed that before todays game. Renteria should have been fired before todays game.1 point

Hub Arkush just mentioned this on The Score. That Trubisky is more accurate when throwing on the move and they should run more plays that allow for him to do this.1 point

I am by no means defending Trubisky the first two games, he has been slow on reads, mostly a one read qb, and seems to be checking into the wrong plays frequently. However, the offensive line has been abysmal and that needs to change if we are to see the best side of Trubisky. Nobody fears the run, they are pinning their ears back and coming for him.1 point

Moncada and Eloy are continuing to hit the ball, that's what you take away from this. Hector Santiago giving up 3 doesn't matter.1 point

Watched the replay. Jimenez should be playing a bit shallower on Smith, no way he doesn’t catch that ball if he commits right off the bat. Playing too hesitantly for that situation.1 point

He has zero confidence in what he is reading at this point and is just regressing intoa fox era no turnovers qb1 point

Broncos defense is good, but he's making them look otherworldly. Same with the Packers D (Cousins sucks too but he at least looked much better against them).1 point

Trubisky showing absolutely no touch/feel, as that was a first down waiting to happen.1 point

Mahomes is just the real deal. 5 straight completions of over 30 yards... and Mitch can't even hit a wide open receiver.1 point

Sure, but it won't be as frequent as my usual posting here.. lol. Tied 3-3, 2Q. (Pineiro just drilled a 40 yarder).1 point

To be fair, when you have as 7 straight losing seasons, a lot of non ex-players have beat the Sox also. It has always been interesting how the Sox do seem to just completely ignore the scouting report that other teams used against those players when they were on the Sox.1 point

Good point. When I make negative remarks about Ricky...they are my way of taking out my frustration with his bunting and lineup propensities. I like Ricky as a person.1 point

Does anyone else epstein did a terrible job the last 3 years? He did a great job building that core and even a few good signings but the last years were pretty bad. -he flopped about 250+m in free agent signings: heyward, darvish, chatwood, morrow, davis - he gutted the farm: no gm traded away more talent. You could argue the Chapman deal worked as he won a ws but the quintana trade didn't work all that well. Sure he brought a historical ws to chicago but what was so different from dombrowski who also won a WS and gutted the farm?1 point

Vaughn alone for Pederson would be such a comically bad trade for the White Sox. Cmon man1 point

Strasburg Grandal Will Smith Ozuna- if miss out try to trade for joc pedersen and put in RF Trade a package of Collins/Vaughn and minors starter for Pederson or RF. This allows Abreu/Eloy to DH when needed. This strengthens every position of need and no deal other than strasburg would require more than 2-3 tops.1 point

38 days after Ron did a victory lap while dancing on Jose’s grave and essentially called him utterly worthless, he now comes back with Jose is worth maybe 18 million dollars next year.1 point

MLB Pipeline did a "Let's project what our top 10 might look like 1 year from now" and they had Vaughn as the #4 prospect in baseball being Franco, Rutschman, and Witt Jr.1 point
