  1. I don’t care one iota that he’s a rookie but when my starter in the World Series has thrown 2 hits through 5 innings and only 67 pitches in a shutout there’s no way on Earth he doesn’t start the 6th inning. You have a 4 run lead. Go to the bullpen once he has a base runner or two.

  2. Crawford is done. Guy just isn't a good goalie anymore. An 18 year old rookie (Dach) is outplaying all of the "core guys" now. Nylander and Saad continue to be good. Strome actually wasn't as bad as he's been in this one. The rest are just god awful. Keith looks like he's aged 10 years. Seabrook should be in the press box permanently but we all know the Hawks brass won't have the balls to do that

  3. The 2 teams with the highest OBP in baseball in 2019 were the Astros and Nationals.

  4. Engel, Yolmer and Garcia are excellent bench player IMO. Love having Good defense and base running skills for late in the game situations. I do think the odds are good that Yolmer is non-tendered than brought back at a more workable $ amount.

  5. Really liking how Coby White looks, especially his ability to finish at the rim. I thought that would be a problem in the NBA. He's super confident out there and it can be hard to teach that as well. And good lord LaVine can put the ball in the hole, he's really getting fun to watch. I think we may have found a useful role for Dunn too.

  6. Four hour two minute game. Ridiculous Game Three. It's amazing baseball has any fan backing considering smart phones and the attention span of people nowadays. Think in terms of a movie. One hour and 40 minutes is about as long as you'll find any movie unless it's some artsy classic going for all the awards. A two-hour movie better be damn good to keep you in your seat. Baseball routinely plays these long long games and it's silly and sad. Speed it up, folks. A 4-1 boring game shouldn't take 4 hours to play. My gosh, baseball, wake up.

  8. Coby White looks like a player. And Bulls still got very lucky that Memphis has missed alot of open 3 pointers this game. Their defense has arguably been worse than the last game (although I'm sure Sleepy will say their D has been excellent since Memphis has only shot 34.5% on 3's and held them to 102 points)

  10. What’s weird is Kinander keeps on spewing rumors and has yet to get one right. There’s probably some truth to the Joc rumor, but that’s pretty much it.

  11. I will say it just makes me so annoyed watching a team that largely just had much better lottery luck. WCJ seems like he just wants to be the backup center on an eastern conference team. JJJ meanwhile... White was good, yet Moran looked so athletic and a force. And add Clarke... So frustrating.

  12. Correction - I would be trusting you for the payout since my point was proven during the bet. You had no chance at the $1,000 even going into the Championship series round. The trust was on both ends. We both had to trust the other would pay out. You didn't take the bet because you know your point was wrong. Which all ties back to this off-season and any subsequent off-season - the Chicago White Sox, almost regardless to how Robert, Madrigal, Eloy, etc. turn out -- will not be winning a world series unless we have 2 STUD top of the rotation pitchers, or 4 VERY GOOD pitchers. I can't say with confidence that we have met the quota for even ONE - "very good" pitcher yet. Giolito is our best hope. Kopech too. Cease has the chops. There's the talent there, but at the end of the day Grandals, and Gardners and all the people I'm even hoping the Sox sign mean absolutely nothing. Nor does James McCann. Nor does any other FA signing. It just means we play 2nd place ball like JR wants us to.

  13. If we get Cole AND Wheeler, we could play Adam Engel in RF for all I care.

  14. I agree...if we get Cole and Wheeler and the price is saving money on Avi...I'm all in.

  15. Stone will be back. The only sticking point is the number of years on his next deal. Stone wants a 3 year deal which ends when he will be 75. There is still an interest on his end in being part of an ownership group - either for an expansion team or an existing team. This will get done, its a matter of when not if.

  16. Adam Eaton is and was a significantly better baseball player than most White Sox fans & media give him credit for.
