we just saw two of the most expensive rotations in baseball squaring off in the World Series but yes spending on pitching is a terrible idea.7 points

Mike Trout struck out 184 times and won an MVP. Guess he's a poor hitter.3 points

I know, winning that World Series was TERRIBLE for them!2 points

Yup, that's some insane narcissistic shit and it's amazing how many of them there are... it serves no purpose most of the time since it's mostly all fake accounts that just die out instantly.2 points

I will never understand the allure of being a fake baseball insider.2 points

4/74 will only happen if he has a bad medical report circulating. He is getting 95-105 easily and potentially more as you said. SFG make no sense though since they really are not trending upward at all.1 point

Yeah Bloom is gonna have to put in some serious work to solve that problem. That's right I forgot about that we need a stopgap lefty starter to eat some innings. So we should finish 130-135m in total payroll and actually will have a good roster. Next year about 20m comes off the books in Colome and Herrera, hopefully by that time Burdi is able to take a big step forward and Bummer remains consistent. If we didn't do that awful Abreu extension, we'd have even more breathing room to help offset the start of arbitration salaries for some big guns.1 point

I’d be interested if Dynasty and if there’s some form of buy-in. I’m going to wager a buy-in over $100 will be hard to find the necessary amount of people.1 point
-
I don't do buy ins below 10k unfortunately. I'm a bit of a high roller.1 point

1. iWin4Prep 2. Look at Ray Ray Run 3. maxjusttyped 4. cjgalloway 5. Chisox59 (Yahoo) 6. BackDoorBreach That's a pretty great start for this post considering it was just posted a few hours ago and we only need 8 at minimum. Let's aim for around 12-14 teams! Any others out there? Let's Assume a buy in of something around $100-$300 right now. Platform is TBD, most likely Fantrax, but possibly Yahoo/ESPN depending on what everyone wants. Aim is for a Dynasty league set up, but also TBD.1 point

Would certainly be interested, especially if it were a dynasty league.1 point

well they won a World Series....... So I'll take what the Red Sox did 10/101 point

Agreed. I could potentially be interested depending on $ and structure. Already play in several though and married to yahoo so wouldn’t do any other formats.1 point

If it results in a WS, 100%. You think the Sox are good at this long term, team building thing. Nothing has shown me this to be true, so I am not sure why you have so much faith in this.1 point

I have a 24 oz can autographed by him in my mancave. Never tried it though lol.1 point

We need at least 1 if not 2 arms for the pen. Even with Treinen I wouldn't be trading Colome.1 point

Adam Engel as a 4th OFer platooned vs lefties and at a few mill is >>> Kevin pillar at 7.5 mill a year1 point

I'd be interested if there was a decent buy-in. If it's a free league I'd be out.1 point

Yeah i posted about him a few days ago when MLBTR put out he was a trade/non-tender candidate. He's a really good buy low candidate imo. He imploded on himself last year but velo didn't dip. He just couldn't throw strikes. He allegedly had a neck thing going on all year.1 point

I haven't done fantasy baseball in probably 5 or 6 years because it's such a chore. I would be down though.1 point

Profar would be a great add if cost is right. He crushes lefties.1 point

Restaurants are tough to make successful, especially if not chain affiliated. But he probably could of picked a better town for this restaurant than Berwyn.1 point

Loyalty to the fans has been missing, though, these past 40 years. Bigly!1 point

I think you're hurting your point more than helping it lol1 point

Nope. But his arm was a helluva lot better than Scotty Pods. Why don't the Cubs hide Schwarber in RF and put their clearly better defender, Heyward, in LF? This is baseball 101, so I assume you're just trolling right now?1 point
-
At least we know not to trust him anymore1 point
-
You would have two elite defenders in LF and CF since Marte has never played RF (you know what he is in left) You can hide Eloy in RF and tell Robert to go get everything covered in right center. You think Jermaine Dye was good in RF when the Sox were good?1 point

Urias change came years ago - it's not as if he changed it in the middle of last year. Urias certainly has a higher ceiling Grisham, and I think the brewers did really well here. Grisham is a safe bet to be an average regular but I think urias could become a star. Guys with his build tend to take longer to grow into their power.1 point

I would just ask: - The value of haniger is increased because of his low $ cost - What are the white sox going to do with that extra value in the rest of the roster. I'd be more ok giving assets for him if we got Cole/Stras. He's good not great.1 point
