  1. Do you MF's read or just reply?

  2. It says the account was created in August of 2016. Clearly, Cishek made the account, forgot about it, then got this Wheeler scoop today and decided to share it with the world.

  3. This can only mean one thing: We are getting absolutely zero movement until late January.

  4. He's too raw. He'd prefer Billy Hamilton.

  5. How long until all the local Chicago writers report that the Sox offer is “nowhere near $100 mil and is closer to 4 years 62 mil”

  6. Alright, it’s definitely happening!? Stone wouldn’t lie to us right??

  7. I have a hard time including Abreu in those calculations.

  8. Joc Pederson has been worth 5.7 fWAR with a 127 wRC+ the last two seasons. Calhoun 2.5 fWAR wiht a wRC+ if 95. Calhoun is a better defender, but Joc is clearly the much better all around player, and he isn't a bad defender.

  9. If that’s all it takes...see ya Pilkington

  10. Sources: Sox offer Wheeler brothers jobs as consultants for the organization.

  11. Even Billy Hamilton thinks that's too much compensation.

  13. Hector was right about the Machado stuff last year. I think he nailed the Sox offer perfectly

  14. I guess Bob Nightengale is full of shit unless he writes something fans like.

  15. There are a few more responses to that original tweet as well

  16. Honestly all those guys are trade bait for me. LF and CF is solidified for years. RF we can get via trade or FA.

  17. Wheeler is at United Center wearing Benny's costume.

  18. No posts in this thread for 15 minutes? Are you guys ok?

  19. I think its a no brainer for Kopech to be in AAA with the kid gloves until they get the year of control back. Hahn has pretty much already said that is what they're going to do.

  20. Clearly Sox should offer Wheeler 5 year deal with a 6th year option kicking in if he makes 35 starts in that 5th year

  21. That is a White Sox problem, not an AL vs NL one.

  22. You'll never get me to buy the NL players = bad thing. Adam Laroche was a bad move when it happened. Adam Dunn was old. Frazier was actually mostly fine. It ain't 1975.

  27. No. Only post fake insider leaks if it meshes with my preferred White Sox narrative.

  28. What really matters is it awesome that people view the White Sox better moving forward than the Cubs ?

  29. MadBum is a guy who doesn't get enough love right now. Not saying he's a better fit, but I think he's a better value. You can probably get away with MadBum on a 4 year deal at $65-70mm vs. Wheeler who's bids are going to be closer to 5/110. $40mm is no joke, plus one less year could be very nice when it comes to resigning some of our own young talent.

  30. Based on what? It's not crazy for the third best SP option to be on the market early Decemeber lol this board sometimes.

  31. This would be a big mistake. McCann is very likely to be an offensive liability, and Grandal is most valuable if you get him catching more often than not. As for Collins, I just don’t believe the organization is willing to count on him as primary DH.

  32. How utterly bizarre for a player to go onto a White Sox podcast of all places to say that.

  33. Nothing earth shattering on the podcast. Cole Hamels has heard from half the teams in the league. The Sox have called and said they have other players they want to sign first but they would like to circle back and explore a contract with him. Hamels said he would love to play for the Sox and feels like he fits very well in their rotation. He also said if he had the opportunity he would return to the Cubs.

  34. Well Hamels to the White Sox would be right up Kenny's playbook. Lets get aging vet who used to be good on the twilight of his career for some lightning in the bottle.
