  1. On line. Groupon. If you can't find them, you aren't looking very hard. Greg I used to think a lot more highly of you. But you aren't willing to put in any effort to protect the people who happen to be around you. it's too much of a hassle. You really should be ashamed of yourself.

  3. Who is Rodman on the Warriors? A freakishly strong PF that would hide the deficiencies on the glass and is one of the best defenders ever?

  4. I am really looking forward to this school year ending because E Learning is brutal for everyone involved. I don't blame teachers, students or parents for the problems with it, it's just extremely hard to keep everyone focused in this scenario.

  5. Throughout this entire thread people have talked to you about making their own masks, advising internet searches, advised different places to look for them at Different stores. As per usual you just gloss right over them and move on to asking why nobody has answered your question, when in fact they have. Good luck finding your answers

  6. Jared running this stuff always reminds me of arrested development where they ask buster to navigate since he took a cartography class and he looks down at the map and says "obviously this blue part here is the land"

  7. I think I'd still rather avoid prosecution as it will heavily fall on penalizing the poor with monetary fines they can't pay, and then risking jailtime for something absurd. But it is very very bad news mask wearing has become a culture war issue. Will unfortunately help again if private industry mandates it.

  10. The union turned down the latest 2020 Draft Proposal from the owners. The draft is still expected to take place on June 10th but that's all that's really known at this point. I wrote about the details and what it means for the White Sox here: https://www.futuresox.com/2020/05/06/the-latest-on-the-2020-mlb-draft-and-how-it-relates-to-the-white-sox/

  11. Surprised this hasn't been posted yet. Apparently Cleveland has already told players to prepare for early July OD? https://www.cbssports.com/mlb/news/mlb-expected-to-submit-2020-season-restart-plan-to-players-union-by-next-week-reports-say/

  12. Greg, why do you write in third person occasionally? I’m not sure I want to listen to a Fox commentator and would like a news story instead.

  15. I've talked to a lot of people about masks. Nobody knows where to find them. I don't want to order online from some company I've never heard of. I haven't been within three feet of any living person in six weeks. I'm not causing any problems.

  17. The White House is closed to tours, and isn't doing public events. Capitol Hill is closed to tours, and Congress refuses to come back into session due to their safety. The Supreme Count is closed to the public and is not doing in person arguments, instead is doing them by phone. The biggest Christian church in the world's headquarters has cancelled all public events through at least June. The leader of the worlds biggest Christian church is doing services on-line for their flock and not in person. If you really believe that things are safe, you sure aren't paying attention to what the people who have the insider information in this case are actually doing. While some leaders might be telling you we are ready to reopen, they sure aren't acting like it.

  18. Go into your drawer, take out an old tshirt. Cut it in half. Tie it around your face. Find a bandana. Tie it around your face. If you can breath in it and it is covering your mouth, it is the right mask. Have you connected with your church? Many are organizing mask delivery and handouts. There are so many ways to solve this problem: wow, a 2 second search. Voila.

  19. How come nobody ever answers my question of "where can you buy a disposable mask???" They are NOT AVAILABLE. It is wrong to say we don't care. We don't have masks to wear! I'm not paying 90 bucks for a box of masks I saw at Walgreens. I don't' even know if they are the right fricking masks. If I see somebody I wait til they pass or walk the other way and stay socially distant. If masks are the new normal for the rest of mankind like they wear overseas, that will suck.

  20. What not wearing a mask does is show you really don't care about anyone else around you. It's plain and simple. I hate wearing a mask, but I wear one. By now, everyone should know they may have the virus without showing signs. Act like you would want people who have it to act around your loved ones. These non surgical masks don't help me much, they help the people around me.

  21. Why do you keep pointing to Lakers Shaq as the bad one? He was in his prime with the lakers, towards the end he got heavy and then on the back end of his career(Miami Boston Phoenix Cleveland) it hurt him, but Lakers Shaq was fucking awesome

  22. Shaq was such a different beast that I think he'd still be dominant. He wasn't just big, he was fast, at least in his prime. If you only saw 2006 Shaq, yeah he was mostly using size and strength, and that would still be a problem for teams to defend today, but back in the 1990s he wasn't just flat footed and in the lane, he was moving around a lot and could get himself up a lot. I think a lot of the strategy today would be to find ways to move him out to the 3 point line to defend, but that would leave your team weak on the glass as well.

  27. https://www.yahoo.com/news/live-let-die-blasts-president-013638094.html Who is the idiot who thought playing Live and Let Die at the Honeywell plant in AZ was just a swell idea? Sweet Jesus, that’s tone deaf. They’ve managed to outdo Melania’s anti-MSM messaging jacket, I think. And then choosing the Guns N Roses version, instead of the original Bond...doesn’t Axl Rose ALWAYS go after Trump in the media? Jared Kushner, the son-in-law of President Donald Trump, formed a volunteer-staffed, "shadow" White House task force to help the US government acquire medical equipment during the coronavirus outbreak. But according to a new report in The New York Times, the group fumbled these efforts by prioritizing tips and bids from close Trump associates, rather than from experienced and legitimate suppliers. The group was told to prioritize those with special connections, and even tracked tips from close Trump allies on a spreadsheet titled "V.I.P. Update," according to The Times. Among those prioritized were conservative activist Charlie Kirk and a former "Apprentice" contestant, Tana Goertz, who serves as the campaign chair of Women for Trump. cnn.com

  28. It is a reasonable plan. This is a great breakdown of the plan and how we get to each step. It's a shame that many won't read it or try to understand it simply because the governor has a (D) after his name.

  29. There is a group of Never Trump Republicans putting out ads with stark images of empty streets and economic devastation. In his inaugural address, Trump talked about carnage and how he was going to end it. Now some on the right on accusing him of carnage of his own. Trump saw the first ad and hit the roof. Called everyone losers as if that was some smart reply. At least some in his party recognize the president has no clothes. His appearance in Arizona was a disaster. We desperately need leadership at this moment, and we are not going to get it. The cronyism and incompetence is sickening.
