1) Bro my comment didn't even quote reply you, why are you digging this back up well over a year later? 2) Congratulations on ending racism by ignoring it, send me a selfie with your Nobel Peace Prize4 points

He's 24 years old and 18 starts into his pro career in a weird ass season where pitchers are getting hurt left and right. Cut the kid some damn slack.3 points

4 starts into an abbreviated weird-ass season where a 24 year old 18 starts into his career is missing his location. I don't know if Cease is ever gonna be good or not but cut the kid some slack.3 points

White Sox: have second lowest ERA in baseball for the last 2.5 weeks Soxtalk: Dylan Cease is terrible trade him now Cooper sucks where did Cease's curveball go Opposing batters get on base sometimes and that's not acceptable3 points

I love Robert, but Tim is making a statement about the leadoff spot right now.3 points

Did you wait over a calendar year to respond so that you could say "this is 2020" instead of "this is 2019"?3 points

What the hell are you talking about? This is 2020. I brought nothing on myself and part of equal rights is having equal responsibility. I heard Morgan Freeman being interviewed once and he asked what can you do end racism? To which he replied stop viewing the world through the lens of identity politics “I’m going to stop calling you a white man, and I’m going to ask you to stop calling me a black man.” That is where I am at too. I don't feel guilty when I see an African American I don't feel fearful I don't feel anything. In fact I try to remember back to when I was a kid when it didn't matter what color of skin a person had. I had Indian friends. Black friends. Muslim friends. I just treated them as a friend and talked to them the same way I would any other kid. The world tries to screw with you and the media tells you have treat people differently because of their background and skin color. Why? I don't and I refuse to do so. That maybe your reality but it isn't mine3 points

His extensions alone make this statement untrue. Sale...Q...Moncada, Anderson, Eloy, and Robert to name a few.3 points

Awesome, so he will then proceed to trade for some 35+ year old FA with nothing left in the tank. Lovely. Remember, this is the same guy that said they wouldn't be signing veteran stop gap type players and then did exactly that the last two seasons. So fuck whatever he says. He doesn't know what he's doing.3 points

This will work against Brewers, Tigers, Royals, etc. We want him to be prepared to bounce good teams.2 points

The White Sox have WAY too much invested in this rebuild to give a long leash to Cooper and Renteria... Far too many developmental failures on the pitching sideline .. These are high draft picks that are flaming out2 points

Cooper "Here is the grip on a cutter. Good on, Jimmy I don't care about the rapsido, rapsodo whatever. I don't need robots to tell me about pitching. Dylan stand tall, throw the cutter."2 points

Tim knew the breaking ball was coming and moved up. Man that is baseball porn, I love it2 points

Interesting how the two Sox players on this list stick out like sore thumbs when looking at the launch angle column.2 points

First off, Abreu is #3, not #2. Second off, damn you for posting this. You saw who #1 is!2 points

I'd prefer we make due with what we have than deal prospects. I think Cease will come around. Gio and Keuchel are solid (usually). Kopech back next season. Carlos and Rey coming back soon. Dunning we haven't seen yet. There are other arms we could use, too. Injuries suck and may screw us out of a few wins but I don't want to see us sacrifice top 5 prospects because we caught the injury bug in a shortened season.2 points

I totally agree. If they expand the playoffs as well it could work.2 points

bruh. this is the Sox, hopefully we batter him to death with a parade of HR again, cause this team ain't a bunch to walk and single a lot.2 points

? Because teams give FA contracts based on your grade from your manager and not your stats, right? Get out of here with this. If my manager is shaving runs and trying to prevent me from producing because he has friends in the other dugout he can go on and get f*cked.2 points

I never say anything political or about social issues, but it seems it’s always a white coach/player getting mad at a minority for breaking an unwritten rule.2 points

Absolutely ridiculous that Tatis Jr was expected to apologize for hitting a grand slam on a 3-0 count with a big lead. Maybe the other team shouldn't have walked the bases loaded with one of the best hitters in baseball due up. Bauer is right in his tweet. Apologizing for being good is so stupid, and I can see why people hate baseball. This isn't freaking little league. To hell with their feelings.2 points
-
8 people voting for Tatis might be the dumbest thing I've ever seen on Soxtalk. There are 8 people here who would rather have Tatis Jr than Mookie Betts. ? Additionally Caufield started a best player sans Trout poll and left out the player leading everyone but Trout in WAR over the past two years - Yelich. lol2 points
-
In addition Sox fans need to get over Tatis; it's just weird. The Sox have started to show signs of being a good drafting/developing organization and when you become that, you're inevitably going to trade away some lottery tickets and talent that pans out.2 points

Strong this. Looking to tie in Grandal's success to PED use is beyond a reach. lol His power hasn't shown up yet. That's it. His OBP is the same and average isn't far off. He's always been a hot/cold sort of a hitter too. MLBN did a comp of his numbers vs Realmuto over the past few years and it's nearly the same guy. Realmuto only slightly better. Grandal is one of the two best catchers in baseball recently. It's 22 games... in a year with basically no spring training. People sure do love their small sample sizes.2 points

I'm told it will be Dunning on Wed. Also hearing there could be a surprise call up soon. ?2 points

And Springer is a player I would avoid in free agency this winter.2 points

JR would have been better off hiring me. I could not have possibly done any worse than Hahn and i would have taken less money to be the GM than what he gave Hahn. The other GMs in MLB have to be envious of Hahn. Hahn has been the GM 7 years and has not had one winning season and he keeps his job. He would of been gone by now with every other MLB team.2 points
