Bye to McCann, bye to this season, everybody sucks. You're a real peach. Your act has gotten stale rather quickly6 points

He had nothing on these pitches. Stoney seems livid at Ricky3 points

This board is entertaining. Guys, relax! They are one year ahead of schedule and made the playoffs already. If they blow the division, they blow the division but it’s early. There are still games left to be played to start jumping off the cliff this early. ?3 points

just laughing still because when i had to hear over and over again how the Indians couldn't score I knew we were doomed.3 points

Madrigal is hitting .346 and people still say he will only be an average 2nd baseman. Doesn't walk enough and needs more power yada yada. Soxtalk is a tough crowd to please.3 points

Chris Sale > Aroldis Chapman. Gotta give him every chance to be a starter.3 points

If you don’t want to play two catchers, then just put Engel in LF and DH Eloy. Enough with trying to get guys going before the postseason and start fielding your postseason lineup.2 points

How can they watch this game and think EE needs to stay in the lineup2 points

Bye Felicia. I choose to watch 2 innings of the team who just scored 4 with 1 out.2 points

Remember all of those articles about the Sox having 12 players make their debut this year? Welcome to baseball with a really young team. Inconsistency is the only thing that consistent.2 points

Guys, doesn’t matter, we still suck and are going to flame out in the playoffs. Don’t forget that.2 points

What a terrible at bat by EE. Stoney seems to be sick of him as well.2 points

I remember when we were 10-11 and had no idea where the team was going. It wasn't looking great. Now we've clinched a playoff spot and people are losing their mind. Sure Mazara and Edwin stink. And we have some problems with pitching, especially with the injuries to Marshall and Bummer, but if a couple guys can get out of their slump, we can beat anyone.2 points

I'd take Engel or Sanchez as DH over EE at this point.2 points

somebody tell Grandal the playoffs haven't started yet, he doesn't have to start his choke job this soon2 points

Something absolutely has to be done with the DH position here during the last week and heading in to the playoffs. Your DH can't be an automatic out and that is what EE is. I don't care that he will hit a HR here and there your DH has to hit consistently.2 points

Maybe we're learning why McCann caught Dunning in his other starts.2 points

Grandal is one of the dumbest fucking pitch callers I've ever seen - which is funny because he sounds intelligent. Can he just dh or something ? Also I knew they were going to score 10 runs on his when I heard for the 20th time that they couldn't score any runs.2 points
-
whether you like it or not, Grandal has to catch everyone. Dunning is not that sharp tonight, but of course, it's Grandal's fault...2 points

Just not a fan of the game Grandal calls. At all. Like, couldn't be any worse.2 points

Bad pitch call on the 0-2, but that’s Grandal doing his thing2 points

May have spoke to soon on that first pitch to Yas lol2 points

Grandal will probably be the one catching him in the playoffs.2 points

At the end of the day if there were NO questions about Crochet, he would have been the #1 pick. He has that kind of stuff. I honestly believe if we had played a full college season that the Sox wouldn't have drafted him with the 11th pick. If he had showed what the Sox think he can be, he would have been a top 3 pick in all likelihood. If he had regressed towards what he had looked like before his previous season, he wouldn't have been on a radar until the later rounds as a lottery ticket. He also did some starting, but definitely wasn't a full time starter in college. He will need to really work to get himself into shape for the marathon that is starting, but the team wouldn't have drafted him if they didn't think he could do it, as well as believing in their developmental staff here.2 points

His write up on MLB.com says he has shown flashes of a "well above average" changeup.2 points

Unfortunately you can't start Cease in any game you are trying to win this season2 points

Speaking of, 15 years ago tonight, Joe Crede hit a walk off homer vs Cleveland’s David Riske. I was there, and it was pretty awesome.2 points

I want 26 innings from our starters in Cleveland, no more new injuries, and Aaron Bummer to come back.2 points

OMG, comparing George Floyd’s “I can’t breathe” last words while effectively being murdered to the minor inconvenience wearing a mask to help combat the spread of COVID causes shows just how fucking stupid this country really is. Anyone who wastes a single ounce of energy fighting the requirement for masks should be sent to a legit 3rd world country for the rest of their life so that they can experience what real problems are like.2 points
