I have said it before, and I will say it again. I have lived through a lot of incredible politicians. Reagan/Clinton/Obama top the lists. They were able to command their group at an amazing level. But for all three of them, I could totally see what people saw in them, even in the ones I didn't personally care for. I couldn't stand Bill Clinton, but could totally see WHY people did respect him. But for all three of them, it did feel like there was an amount of substance to add to why people could follow them. People agree with their policies and their leadership qualities. There wasn't the same cult of personality there was with Trump. With all three of them, it was about them AND the party. Reagan was a Republican and wanted to lead the party. Clinton and Obama were Democrats first. Trump has never been about party, leadership, or country. It is about him. He sold himself. The rest didn't matter. He would be perfectly willing to destroy this country if it meant he still came out ahead. I never felt that about any other President until this one. It really is like a cult. I fully believe if DJT got on television tonight and told people to start killing Democrats, the USA would look like 1994 Rwanda before dawn.

All I have to say at this point is you cannot claim you are patriotic and support a President who literally says, "Stop counting the votes and declare me the winner, everyone knows I won." These people are always the one who tell you to leave America if you don't like the way things are. If you support that shit, then maybe YOU ought to move... to North Korea where dictators actually might do shit like that.

Oh so nice to wake up and see Biden finally taking the lead in both Pennsylvania and Georgia. It has been 3 long days, but totally worth the angst.

PA could very likely be called today, NV should be called today, and GA could also be called. AZ won't matter, but there's still a chance for Biden to win there, too. If he takes all four, the elections ends up not being that close. Biden would have 306 electoral votes. Even without AZ, he's at 295. Again, had some states, especially PA, been allowed to count mail-in votes early, this could have been called Tuesday night.

G7 is just putting on his sock puppet to toss in a load of hyperbole with a sprinkle of sarcasm. Best of luck there in Kansas. Them farmers are going to be rioting when they feel marginalized, without a voice, no power or even access to power, and the whole country against them. Soon they will feel the entire system is rigged to keep them down and they just can't win. Then if a police officer or two gets a little nervous and scared in the face of a farmer the police may shoot one or two of them then it will be hell in Kansas. But you already know that which is why you are crying out for some help. I'm humbled that G7 is looking to old Tex for some help when the chips are down. Now I might be changing my opinion from an earlier post but a Smith & Wesson M&P 9 would be a great choice. You better hurry down to a gun store because Biden will take away everyone's right to a little iron. And get yourself plenty of ammo because it's going to be in very short supply. You're also going to need fortification on your home. Personally a backyard bunker makes the most sense but bulletproof glass or brick in your windows is a great start. Then a sealed off panic room somewhere inside. Make certain no radio waves or wifi signal can get in or out for extra security. And get yourself a haircut before going in, it could be a long time. And don't forget food. Biden's socialist agenda will cause massive food shortages. For single guys I'm a big fan of charro beans and Tabasco for survival food. Pro tip, have enough tp on hand with that diet. Keep your head down, don't be a hero.

Like I said I never thought that about another President. But watching the direct correlation between his threats and language towards others, and the amount of danger those people get put in is sobering. I mean he basically talked a group of Michigan militia men into a kidnapping plot against the Michigan governor. What other American politician can you say that about? Dr Fauci has to have security details and can't go for a jog anymore because of the threats on his life. Kyle Rittenhouse went up to Wisconsin and shot a couple of people, full intending to do so. Its nuts.

As a republican which you kind of claim to be who cares. I am a republican and I dont care. I really dont care that agent orange is out of the white house. I saw it with my own eyes on stream and Wheeler tweeted about it today. The mob is real and it's nightly in Portland. The 20 to 30 something white thugs dress in full body armor with shields and umbrellas every night and march and terrorize. It's real and yes it's Orwellian. They want blood. They usually settle on smashing up cars and windows of stores and throw molotov's at cops and into buildings. It's insane and yes I fear it. Wrong place wrong time ... boom, bat to the head. Again I don't care which side is doing it. I want 'em arrested. Fat chance. They get off when 'arrested.'

He's going to be spending time in jail for some other shit as he is out on bond right now, after being arrested living on some Chinese billionaire's yacht. Is it a reason to panic ? Nope. They still have to hire his coaches. I don't think it's necessary to contact every player in the 1st month of hire. There's a ton of things the Sox and LaRussa will be active with this off season . Let them get a coaching staff in place 1st so there's a bit more to talk about with his players or maybe get an idea of who the Sox will retain, acquisition targets, payroll. We all have questions about that so maybe the players do too and LaRussa might want to be better prepared on those fronts Heck he could wait til around Thanksgiving and tell them all how thankful he is to get the opportunity to manage each and every one of them.

"Why do I think "good they made the right call?" Because the most important thing to me was removing Donald Trump. His form of "Americanism" is the antithesis of mine. Making sure Trump lost was the primary goal. Right now the conditions for that are favorable. Always look for ways to improve, but be happy with what you get. "No other candidate could have done it?" Who knows, maybe Bernie/Warren whoever could have won. But I believe that Biden presented the best opportunity to win. That is the way that I read the American country right now. I think there were a lot of reasonable Republicans who were done with Trump. Many people think (I didnt even intend to use Trump's phrase.) that Trump makes them look like idiots. A lot of moderate GOP have a lot of pride in America, many of them are educated. I think some of them realized that Trump was a mistake. Are they going to full swing liberal this election? I doubt it. But, im pretty sure the numbers right now show Biden performed better against Trump with non-minorities. Just regular every day people are sick of the carnival show. I think Biden does better than any other candidate with those voters. Could a more liberal candidate possibly have driven new more liberal voters? Maybe but I think unlikely. Biden will get the most votes in history. Its hard to imagine another candidate getting an even bigger turn out. If the more liberal wing of Democrats wants me to back them, they need to show me some wins in MI, WI, PA,. If they start winning in more moderate states or R states, you will see the party back them. "Yes, Biden is going to win, but he's eking out a victory against a consensus bottom-five president in U.S. history. Yes, much of that is due to the outdated electoral college, but nevertheless, the relatively narrow margin of victory is one that I would be embarrassed or at least uneasy about if I were a Democrat, not one that I would be proud of." Beating an incumbent is tough. The electoral college creates a small picture of states that have value. Trump has a lot of votes. That is a lot of support. People could have easily not voted at all and just sat it out. Proud of? I have no part in any of this. I have my beliefs on what I think is the best way to run government. I hope that the world will move that way. When it moves that way a little bit, I am happy. I have no real impact in any of this. Id love if tomorrow I woke up and the world was exactly how I want. But I also know that it may be a really long process. Even the smallest victory is worth more than a loss. TLDR You take even a small win when you can get it.

Hate what? Last offseason? Our big two additions combined for 3.5 wins in a 60 game season which is fantastic . Yes, Edwin, González, Mazara, & Cishek were busts, but at least they didn’t require any multi-year commitments.

Remember this though - every president faces crises. He’s sort of lucky it took him this long to have a real one. Might have something to do with how well set up the government was to run after 2016, it takes a while to dismantle that level of effectiveness and skill.

And this is why Democrats cant have nice things. Instead of seeing an extremely close election where it is hopeful that the Democrats barely beat one of the most Anti-American Presidents of all time. We want to argue that if only we had been *more* liberal we would have some one done better. Do you really think that there were all these ultra liberals hanging out in Georgia, Florida, Texas, NC who only would have voted if there was a more liberal candidate?
