Yep. Trump's America, where he has cult members in Kansas hiding in fear over imaginary scary non-white people.4 points

I'll send u guys all the links. But here's the one I'm watching tonight. It's awesome. Cops busting the Antifa thugs early tonight for spray painting. Cops are after the Antifa thugs early tonight. As the streamer calls them, "domestic terrorists." Cool stream watch it now. www.twitch.tv/behindenemylinesnews Anitanoellegreen is another one streaming tonight. Also https://woke.net/ will take u to some streams nationwide and in Portland. And please stop implying I'm lying I don't lie which makes me different from most politicians during COVID. They had 120 consecutive nights of rioting which is 4 months. If it's lessened a tad since Biden won, it appears it finally has. But it hasn't stopped. Last Saturday was bad (I watched it) and the Antifa thugs are out tonight and some have already been stopped by cops. Just please stop the doubting greg stuff right now. It's been my nightly routine to watch this anarchy. Lots of building damage tonight. The guys are taking pictures of all the broken windows. the behind enemy lines guys who hate Antifa have all the footage. Portland still rioting!!! Makes me fricking sick. But, no, it's not going on. Andy Ngo just. makes it all up as well.4 points

He’ll be starting in AA and that’s what he should be doing. He needs innings. He’ll likely be up in September and playoffs out of bullpen though.3 points

Not for only two years of Musgrove. Dunning isn’t great, but he should be a solid number 5 at worst going forward.2 points

No it wouldn't, especially not that last part. Trading that much young pitching for 34 year old Lance Lynn sounds terrible to me.2 points

What is there to be skeptical of? Arizona placed a guy that the White Sox scouts liked on waivers. The White Sox claimed him. This sort of thing happens every offseason for every team.2 points

I have been thinking of the degradation people who work with or for Trump have to go through on a daily basis. There is Pence and his groveling. Pompeo and his talking about a "second Trump administration." There is William Barr who needs to be disbarred. There was Sean Spicer and his lies about adoring Trump crowds. And finally the former New York City Mayor making a total laughing stock out of himself. To go along with all of this is all the stupid talk that Covid happened just to ruin Donald Trump and the total idiocy of a stolen election that Trump has lost by over 6,000,000. And the idea that his followers really think he cares about them when he doesn't care about his own family, and the talk about riots that don't exist.2 points

Everyone knows the best way to go about your job isn't constantly adapting and trying to improve yourself, but showing other people they're wrong.2 points

I'll do it, I'm a very pro-vaccine person, I just don't wanna be the first to do it. A lot of my friends are skeptical but Black folks are like that about vaccines because *gestures broadly at Tuskegee experiments, Henrietta Lacks, entire history of the United States, etc*2 points

Being a reliever is worse for his arm. Unless they have a schedule for him to pitch like he's a starter, I believe it would detrimental to him to have him as a RP in the majors all year. I like the idea of making him a starter in the minors, even if they only let him pitch in 3 games a month or 1 time a week just to ease his innings. Then have him ready for a call up in September or even earlier depending on what the division race looks like. But when we call him up, we need to have a plan. We can't rush him into games... IMO. At least for 2021. Once he has a successful year without major injuries, the gloves come off quite a bit in 2022.2 points

as good as he was, I would go real slow with him as a starter. I'm sure he and his agent would hate it but ?♂️2 points

Stretch him out in Minors, AA ball is where the up and coming stars are. I agree, a Chris Sale path may be the right way to go. We need a quality # starter until he's ready. Hopefully Kopech will get his head out of his ass and Cease improves.2 points
-
Given that he only threw 20-30 innings last year, I think they should use him in the MLB bullpen in a multi-inning weapon role for 70-100 innings. His stuff and command is good enough to go on the Chris Sale plan of all development at the MLB level. He could be slotted into the MLB rotation in 2022 should a CBA get done.2 points

Assuming we have a MiLB season, minor league starter. If we don't, on the MLB roster.2 points

Not really to be honest haha. And they have Zavala, Rodon, Mazara, Ruiz they could cut...take your pick.2 points

Madrigal, Cease, Dunning is as far as I would go for Snell. The problem is you are trying to snag an ace from a competitive team. You're better off trying to acquire an ace from a rebuilding team. Going for Marquez from the rockies makes more sense.1 point

That would be MUCH better than any of the insanity I've seen thrown around as potential Lynn trades.1 point

Trading top prospects for a rental is a recipe for disaster. I'd rather go after Darvish or someone with more control.1 point

Name one single person that has been arrested for throwing a party of 20 people or more. Just one. Otherwise, please stop posting stupid hyperbole everywhere.1 point

Fair enough. I endorse your post. I like your attitude. You've got the gun IN YOUR CAR ready if needed. If somebody tries to carjack your car or bust a window to stab you you are ready. I appreciate you taking the time to write long posts in response to my posts. Thank you. Illini beat Nebraska today ... nice.1 point

Zisk wasn't traded or sold. After the 1977 season he signed a 10 year contract with Texas. Sox couldn't compete with that.1 point

Yeah it's a big concern. I have a relative who lives downtown Chicago and he's got one guard in his highrise lobby. He's afraid the mobs are gonna hit the elevators one night and come busting through doors (remember his area was hit by window breakers and looters twice already in the last 4 months). They've hit the KC suburbs on two occasions. Of course I'm worried about the looters and head bashers who always attack 3 on 1 or 4 on 1. Cowards.1 point

I already have been telling my kids we are in. I probably won’t be first because of prioritization but like you I am pro vaccine. I also assume between all of these companies a ton of analysis is being done etc. I am hoping by March/April my family and I have vaccine in us.1 point

Yes. Exactly. Same with racists from any race. Most people are just out there mixing with other people trying to get by. Don’t let the news make you think there are huge blocks of white supremacists or antifa people out there ruining things. These are tiny tiny little groups that can only fill up a camera lense, nothing more.1 point

i enjoyed your post and hope it is true. Remember that couple in St. Looie that brought out the guns to meet Antifa? Didn't work out well for them thru the legal system with punks all over their property yelling nasty things. Lot of people have been physically bruised by Antifa Not this St Looie couple, nothing happened to them but it was daylight, too.1 point

Are you serious? It's the mayor and governor's fault for not arresting and charging these anarchists. It's amazing it's easier to get arrested for holding a Thanksgiving party of 20 people than it is to bust windows in major stores and grab a few items for the TV room. Unfrickingbelievable. Trump's fault?? LOL. Antifa hates Biden, too. Even though I disagree with most posters on here I pray you don't run into some of these thugs on the street. I don't want anybody to get hit with a bat.1 point

Now that makes more sense. I figured that number wasn't right. Wasn't meant as a call out.1 point

Not Steve Cishek tweeted that Kopech’s fastball is at 97-99 mph with good control, elite spin and ride on fastball but the club is cautiously optimistic and still active in the SP market. Also tweeted that Springer is still there top target and they are working on signing him in the near future. Al’s cheesy beef tweeted that the Sox are looking to add two SP’s this offseason.1 point

I’ll be in the minority here but if this team is trying to win a World Series next year he should be in the bullpen. Start stretching him out there but he’s one of your best weapons, he should should be on the major league team.1 point

Respectfully disagree here. The Cubs run is neither our ceiling or floor as our possible range of outcomes is much wider than that IMO.1 point

I would be 100,000th in line. I have some reasons why I shouldn’t be first/in a test group, but those same reasons say I really won’t do well if I get the actual virus.1 point

Jocketty’s also not surprised to see La Russa managing at age 76, since he’s been hearing about his desire to jump back in for the last few years. “He’s really had the energy and ambition to get back to managing because he sees things he doesn’t like in the way the game is played some times, and he’d like to have some opportunity to show how he did it, obviously with some adjustments,” Jocketty said. “He was definitely fired up for this and he’s got the energy and the drive to take this thing as far as he can take it.” Oh FFS!1 point

Its also a part of growing up. Mark Buehrle made it until his 30's without realizing the need for post season workouts and nutrition. Some guys get by on natural talent long enough, that they don't appreciate what a next level work ethic actually is until they fall behind. Its a normal part of the maturation process, and nothing something to lose your mind about. Give the kid credit, and hope it is enough to launch him back into the top level of prospects.1 point
