Were you nervous with our GG maybe best in the game OF making a routine (except in this case it actually was) catch today? Baseball is a fucked up game. The tired act of knowing everything and telling everyone how to feel and respond on a MESSAGE BOARD is tired. People use these boards for different reasons. I, for one, only post when extremely drunk. Others for cathartic reasons. Some to learn. Nobody needs some know it all jerk-off-in-front-of-the-mirror dork telling people how to feel and respond.6 points

Honestly one of the most unlikeable on field players in all of baseball. And yes, would rather have McCann than him next few years.5 points

You’re so full of shit. You dump on the people that are obviously using this platform for venting purposes. Maybe it makes you feel smart. I don’t know. But don’t act like “it’s all In good fun” or whatever. It’s lame.5 points

Five years into a rebuild and Billy Hamilton is our starting left fielder. Good lord that is depressing.4 points

How many more “freak” accidents does he need to have to show he isn’t a capable LF, he’s a liability to his team and personal health out there.4 points

Ricky was terrible at bullpen management and if you watched us choke away a division title last year while he had Ruiz pitching in high leverage situations you wouldn’t be make this ridiculous argument. And I say this as someone who just called Tony out for going with Marshall over Bummer, which isn’t nearly as egregious as some of the moves you & Ricky made last year.4 points

Moncada comes up to bat with the bases loaded, two outs, and his team down 3-0. He strikes out. Tie game.3 points

Small thing, but I appreciate that Abreu was immediately showing concern for Ohtani. It's good having a dude like that as your leader.3 points

Hey, at least we have some great prospect middle infielders, if TA is out for a bit! Oh.......3 points

It's almost as if building a team with the expectations no one will get hurt isn't a good plan!3 points

He cannot play left field so the notion that it is "his position" is wishful thinking. I think we might be surprised at Eloy's trade value as an injury prone DH under contract for 6 years at $43M plus. And of course it was his fault.3 points

In case you were wondering how badly we got screwed last night by the ump https://twitter.com/UmpScorecards/status/1378724579355463684?s=19 The 3 worst calls were all given to Lynn, 2 of them would have resulted in strikeouts if called correctly.3 points

It should be a requirement that all baseball fans collect baseball cards at least as a child growing up, if for no other purpose than to illustrate how many great players have subpar to downright shitty numbers their first couple of years in the league. I don't think Rome was built in like 2 half-seasons worth of building either.2 points

Hamilton- fucking HAMILTON- leads off with a single & SB and they get nothing They must lead the majors since 2006 in RISP less than 2 outs that results in 0 runs2 points

Ding ding ding. IMHO, I think the rebuild was just a ruse. There was never intention of building a legit WS contender. Because if there was, JR is an idiot.2 points

They also have a far better manager, one with dare I say it, “recent championship postseason experience”.2 points

Got out of it. They are gonna hit Ohtani 2nd time thru. Cease just needs to keep them 3 or less.2 points

Full disclosure I’m on both sides. I thought he was a legit 4th starter . But damn...2 points

To be fair his spring would have earned a starting spot. This roster just isn’t nearly as good as the front office thinks it is.2 points

While the Sox obviously don't have the best defense. I'm just going to say we have some extremely young and inexperienced players who have never played or pitched in Anaheim or Seattle or many of the other parks they will be seeing this year. The Sox might not get off to a great start but I would think some of these guys are going to start to relax. Some handle it better than others but the veterans have to lead the way . Tim , Jose, Grandal and Moncada need to lead the offense . Eaton's been fine offensively but needs to tighten up the defense. Show the kids how it's done and take some pressure off them. Let's show some patience on a Holy Day at least.2 points

Arraez is really damn good. He’s offensively what many thought Madrigal can be.2 points

Three things I'll be looking for: 1-Dylan Cease pitch command...can he locate his stuff? 2-Obviously, better defense. It's the reason they are 1-2...they'd be 3-0 if it weren't for all the errors. 3-And Yermin's first bat-flip, which will of course be almost as bright as Jesus was on the day he rose again. HAPPY EASTER AND GO SOX!!!2 points
