  1. Unbelievable weekend - but man - why were the Bills not putting pressure at end of regulation. Either way incredible. Feel terrible for Bills for losing. Oh and I will continue to say - give me some Dabol.

  2. I've given Vucevic the benefit of the doubt most of the year despite him being basically a below average starter all season, but it's hard not to fault him when he drops a game this bad against the worst team in basketball and gets humiliated by the guy that we traded to get him. With so many injuries, you need a guy like Vucevic to step up, but he's done the exact opposite. DeMar was basically out there playing by himself tonight on offense.

  3. A properly executed squib kick gets down to 10-15 yard line. Either the receiving team downs it immediately and has 10+ more yards to get in their 13 seconds, or they spend 5 seconds getting 15-20 yards and then there's only time for 1 play before you have to try a FG or Hail Mary, so yes, in this specific situation, squib kick was clearly the better choice.

  6. 13 seconds was too much time for Mahomes. Honestly the best post season weekend I can remember capped by an incredible game

  7. For your information, the three greatest weekends in football history all took place in January of 1986.

  8. They are in a bad place right now - especially with Ayo being off the past couple games. They basically have 2 people scoring (White and Derozan). Vuc is clearly not a LT part and they need to package him for others but the depth is just so thin. They need Lavine back but also have to be careful. Right when it was getting back with Caruso coming back and than more to come we went right back to non-existent depth. Hopefully this was the last of the major injuries and we get back to getting guys healthy and start chunking together a stretch with more wins than losses. I still say I would give Derozan some extra rest - basically throw one more game - than be ready when Zach comes back.

  9. Can't challenge it either cause they wasted it on the offensive foul on Vucevic earlier.

  10. He's dead to me. I know he's the only length we have, but there are better stretch big men you can sign in the future to get similar production for way less than what they're paying Vucevic.

  11. The NBA has a rules problem. One dude puts a guy in surgery with a long term recovery: 1 game suspension. FFS

  13. I thought this was a good run down. Not a podcast I consistently listen to but this was good atuff https://www.windycitygridiron.com/2022/1/23/22896784/t-formation-conversation-latest-chicago-bears-searches-head-coach-general-manager-brian-daboll-khan For GM, My number one is Khan. But, I think Brown is a really good candidate - he’s been in multiple orgs and ran both pro and College scouting - and you can’t fault Indy’s scouting in the draft - and that’s when bears pro scouting esp OLine was quite good. Poles is scary because he’s a lot of what I didn’t want. His youth and single org make it a huge unknown what kind of staff and scouting he can bring. And does he really know what is required to build a successful org when you remove a hall of fame coach? Pace knew how much Brees meant to NO and sacrificed the rest of the team to try and find him - and he was too focused on the leadership side of Brees. BUT - KC made this guy VP so he can only leave to GM. He’s handled scouting AND contracts. Every team is impressed. That’s more than Pace. For GM I’m not so concerned. This candidate pool is exciting. For coach, I am more open to Eberflus than you. People really like him, his players respect him. He’s developed guys like crazy, and I think coaches will see how he stayed under Reich as a loyal coach where he won’t have a problem building a staff - for instance - I wouldn’t be shocked if Eberflus could get Caldwell as OC. Schematically he seems flexible and smart. However - yeah, I’d prefer Daboll and I have been sold on Leftwich. Id also be very excited about Flores though, I think if the new GM liked him it is a sign Dolphins spin took the reins. Both GM and Flores would likely have a plan for OC like Joe Brady. I won’t lie, Khan seems like a slam dunk. A guy 20 years in an incredible Org, managing the resources to make them consistently competitive.

  16. It’s tough being the new GM or HC here. Are they forced to build around Fields? Fields might suck and then your one shot at GM/HC is over. If I was interviewing for GM I’d want the option to trade Fields if I felt he wasn’t the right QB.

  17. Good as Gould. I remember how pissed I was when they cut him. I think a few people on this board said I was wrong too - nope - I wasn’t. He should have only worn a Bear uniform! Here it is: Goulds kick forces Rodgers to reevaluate his career and retire. Bears blind into a great head coach and GM and Justin Fields becomes the next true franchise qb! Meanwhile Green Bay begins to experience true crap going from Love to turd after turd for next 3 decades!!! You heard it here first

  20. And I think Schefter quite frankly is a big reason why. He is sending updates to his 9 million followers on who are making the biggest donations. I feel like in a weird way it's almost like a competition now which is a good thing if it means more donations.
