I couldn't attend in person, so I'll start a chant here. Can we get a thousand posts? Fire Tony7 points

I’m officially on the “lose for a month straight” bandwagon. Team needs to bottom out and sell.5 points

At the park, when they announced the staring line ups LaRussa was booed. Just like old times.4 points

Literally none of those guys are the age they are discussing. Just an unbelievable confidence to constantly “So what about” when you can’t follow basic conversation points.4 points

Easier to be negative than positive. Come here with positivity and keep the line movin'! I'll start. How about Mendick and Burger being the MVP's of June!? This season has been on the brink and Anderson going down could've been a spiral based on how Leury, Yoan and Harrison have been playing. Both Burger and Danny are putting this team on their back and carrying them currently. love to see it.3 points

For this thread I don’t want to bother with the manager. This is driving me batty and I don’t know what the deal is. The White Sox lost todays game in large part because they put Sousa on the mound in the 7th. Aaron Bummer last pitched on Tuesday the 7th. He never warmed up today. It’s clear he wasn’t available - and he’s now been out for 4 days. It seems there were 3 other relievers unavailable today - Graveman and Lopez from throwing a lot yesterday and maybe another back issue for Hendriks. I understand when you can’t use a guy because he’s overworked, and I understand a guy missing a day or two for back spasms. But Bummer has now been out for half an IL trip already, and that means they’re playing a full man down before other people get hurt or overworked. Why is Aaron Bummer not on the IL if he cannot pitch today? Banks as a warm body is better than exhausted Ruiz and Foster in the 10th inning. This is not the first guy they’ve played this game with this season. They kept thinking Vaughn would come back from his bruise and wasted a roster spot for a week. Harrison missed a week with an injury and they didn’t IL him either. I think there was another one I’m forgetting right now. Why are we playing short handed like this? They keep doing it and it massively contributed to a loss today.3 points

You phrased that wrong. Managers shouldn’t have that much of an impact in baseball. The “good” ones don’t. Tony La Russa has ABSOLUTELY mattered since he’s been here, and for all the wrong reasons.3 points

I'm near the concourse behind the Sox dugout. The chant was pretty loud for a short while. Tony was booed during the starting line ups and when he just came to getFoster. Unless the Sox get real hot, this is only going to become a regular occurrence.3 points

Sox gotta be the only team in baseball who calls a guy up for like 1-2 games for the Bpen and throws that guy in a high leverage situation consistently.3 points

I really with MLB would change the rule that bans a team from using any of their four best relievers before the 7th inning. I feel like that rule is hurting the Sox.3 points

You were likely saying the same thing about Grandal 10 days ago. He’s now seemingly hit his way out of the funk. Yoan is still less than 100 AB’s into his season, let’s relax a little3 points

I feel like getting rid of the Gavin Sheets option is what is giving us sensible lineups more than anything.3 points

I would say running this manager out there is the ultimate lack of class, but I suppose you are the expert for what we are allowed to do at sporting events.3 points

Error on Vaughn. Playing a position he shouldn’t be. End of Sousa’s Sox career likely. Need Crochet…2 points

Yes, once you expand the ramifications beyond Yoan V Burger, and getting them in the lineup, that affects Vaughn in the way you stated. But I do believe Jake’s bat is the loudest ATM. eventually Yoan has to exit because he makes too much money and doesn’t produce. I wouldn’t mind squeezing him in at second base because he hits like a second baseman. But Jake is definitely the option at third to choose very soon2 points

I know. If Grandal started at DH Burger would play 3B instead of Moncada. Would have been better.2 points

Yeah, it looked like a pop up the way he swung. 425ft with an off balanced swing. Plus Jake is easy to root for2 points

Yoan is going to have to make the move to 2B. Burger is showing he can legit hit. This would solve a big problem.2 points

So now they need to rest players more even if the bat is hot? Seems contradictory to most posts stating they need to have the hot bats stay in the lineup. I been stating all year that rarely do catchers play in day games following night games and have been ridiculed for it.2 points

This game would be 0-0 if Perez would just simply throw the ball with his other hand2 points

Perhaps, but that always made a little sense since a lefty is going and Rees is gonna catch Kopech tomorrow for sure.2 points

I think you have to remember that the Future Sox guys and all those who contribute greatly to this forum are unpaid amateurs doing it out of love and may not be well connected to the organizations or may not live near any of the teams. Sure some have a little bit of access but if those teams want to hide whats going on they will hide it. Local reporters may have better access so I'm sure our guys follow whoever they have to on Twitter and many other forms of social media to find info. We're lucky to have so many dedicated people devoted to the minor league Sox affiliates .2 points

I heard he had his foot amputated in November 2002, but he was already slow so it didn’t affect his speed. It took him about half of 2003 to adjust in the box, though. When he hit the GS in 2005, he raised his fist to counterbalance the missing foot so he wouldn’t topple over while rounding the bases. The outfield statue is anatomically correct. Check it out. Also, check to see if Moncada has both feet. He may not.2 points

Montgomery plays SS still and has athleticism that should allow him to continue to tap into more power. I don’t think anyone is not excited about Ramos, but Kanny has swallowed most of our prospects alive and Montgomery has been pretty damn good.2 points

The reaction would be nothing like this. Tony's stupidity is headlining national sports coverage. Even if Turner hit a bomb there it is nothing like a national media embarrassment. Not even in the same universe.2 points
