Why though? We know nothing about their relationship. From my perspective, other people's relationship is none of my business. I don't judge or involve myself in that business unless we're talking something illegal.4 points

Must have been no one in scoring position when he came through4 points

I'm old enough to remember news breaking of a second DUI happening right around the time of TLR's re-hiring, and the entire organization playing dumb pretending that it never happened. I'm also old enough to remember reading summation of what he said to the officers during his arrest, as if HOF credentials meant the rules didn't apply to him.4 points

I have to say that it does feel different this week. The old heads that all had Tony's back aren't able to defend what he has been doing, Heyman talked about replacing him on the score this morning and it usually takes a lot for him to say something of that nature. Bruce tried to calm it all down but it just came off as normal Bruce caping4 points

The whole bullpen is injured… nobody in the world could save this sinking ship. The ungrateful fans are probably hurting clubhouse morale, but keep it up!4 points

When you are asking your channel to edit out manager mistakes multiple days in a row, maybe you need to start asking yourself about the manager4 points

Most Chicagoans eat tavern cut, not stuffed pizza. Mainly limited to the downtown tourist joints. Tony & Lill's and Father and Son's were my favorites but have closed, La Villa and Dino's are the current call. Would love to try Vito & Nick's. Cheese and sausage, and any vegetables except mushrooms work for me. La Villa (on Pulaski between Addison & Irving). Dino's (On Higgins a few blocks east of Harlem)3 points

See, on first glance - it looks like it could be Chicago thin crust. Then you notice the fucking weird cheese And the crust is actually cracker thin, not just thin. People that say deep dish isn't pizza haven't tried the unholy abomination that is St. Louis style pizza. Also, since I'm dragging it so much, I should note that their other local foods are the bomb.3 points

They've got a great post game spread up there in the Motor City. That Detroit style pizza can be filling.3 points

Anyone who’s ever worked in a toxic environment knows how bad it can be. Morale is low, productivity is down. That’s what we’re seeing with this team. Bad management, and they all know it.3 points

Yeah this is all about personal responsibility, if true. While not the most vile of actions, this is 100% the fault of Tim Anderson, and TA only.3 points

And for the record I know I don't condone cheating and I doubt anyone here does. But to me it's a private matter. I feel sorry for the innocent people involved. It's probably not good for his baseball playing. Seems like Earl Woods was right, women are the down fall of professional athletes.3 points

None of this would have happened if they left the goose in right field3 points

Until this is officially proven true and not hearsay, this is not worthy of SoxTalk. Hell, the drunken TLR got a second DUI and still was allowed to be the Sox manager.3 points

Is this going to affect the Dairy Queen voting in any way??3 points

Im old enough to remember Steve Stone saying " The Sox will NEVER be outmanaged with TLR in the dugout" From what ive seen, I believe my grandmother (who died in 1999) has CLEARLY outmanaged him from her grave.3 points

Picking up the Yermin bit, I'm old enough to remember when Tony *defended our opponent and divisional rival* for throwing at our players following the 3-0 HR.3 points

I'm old enough to remember being told that Tony would have this team mentally focused and in tip top shape for baseball cause he's a Hall of Famer.2 points

Old enough to remember when Tony blamed Yermin for hitting a 3-0 ball into the stands during a blowout, then let him get hit by the Twins pitcher the next day with zero repercussions2 points

we can all cite a ton of examples where teams underperform early then catch fire and roll. i'm sure it's possible that can happen. that said, this team is just good at losing. how they lose looks different from day-to-day but the result is the same. starting pitching looks great, then it doesn't. bullpen shines for two weeks, then gives it up. we don't hit for two-and-half-months, then score 32 runs in our last four games. go 1-3 in those games. being good at losing is a team characteristic. i'm more inclined to think that's what this team is this year. doesn't mean the rebuild's a failure or some variation of this core can't excel in a different year, but i increasingly think we are not going to see it this year.2 points

It's more the latter. But its because if nothing is found d it's easy to interpret the images. However, if they find something they need to analyze the images much closer to determine the amount of damage and if it warrants surgery and how it compares to the physical exam.2 points
