I swear LaRussa makes more than 1 bad decision every single game. The old adage that a bad manager will cost you no more than 3 losses is just plain wrong with this guy. He really was the worst possible choice, it's unbelievable.

True, although it is interesting he's admitted to punching file cabinets because of LaRussas curious moves. Bringing LaRussa back was one of the most shortsighted moves in MLB history. It shortened the window. Hopefully it's not closed for good, but I imagine it's closed until he leaves.

Really enjoying your posts on this @reiks12 The reason why I do blame menechino is I wouldn't say any of these guys had this profile coming up. Instead they had lots of power, or moderate power, too many Ks. For a lot, but not all. Now they are all high contact, high groundball, power diminished. Teamwide. Also didn't someone pull up the Marlins GB% under Menechino? I am sorry I stole it from you but it stuck in my mind indelibly. The Marlins were 1st in GB% every single year he was their hitting coach. 5 years! They were 27th in hard hit percentage in 2017 the year Stanton had like 58 home runs. This looks exactly like a Menechino team.

Complete retooling of this roster has to happen this offseason. No more DH/1B playing in the outfield, especially with some of the guys expected to be elite hitters not performing to their expectations.

I would bet money it’s a misunderstanding as far as what the story is actually about. Even if he was held back too long (for his taste), he can’t be stupid enough to start a self immolation process at an important part of his career that is so far successful. Impatience can’t make a sane person do this right?

We don’t know if any promises were made to Colas about a promotion to AA if he “played well,” but nothing would or should be surprising at this point. He only has to look at Luis Roberts’ multiple promotions in 2019. Plus, who exactly is blocking him in AA? If I played in the 30th ranked farm system behind a terrible Barons’ team and looked at a big league club with two big corner outfield holes… Then there was that weird situation a month ago where he was on the roster and not playing and they said he was injured but he also wasn’t on any sort of public restricted list, either. Yet they brought him and Cespedes up this spring as reasons for not making a big RF signing. Something doesn’t add up. Then there’s the Brian Ball lawsuit that can’t go away fast enough.

Sorry bud. It's going to feel like forever but promise it will just kinda evaporate. Your pediatrician should have some good tips based on if its around trouble staying asleep, getting to sleep, or discomfort. For calming my kids down to sleep, I always felt like walking and bouncing them gently got them to a sleep state quickest, but my wife always rocked and didn't like the walking. When they were really crying, I did this I found on a youtube one day but now I can't find. I swaddled them (while still possible), and laid them on their back onto my lap while I was sitting, with their heads toward my knee. Then I would have my hands gently on their front, and rock my knees side to side while I shushed. I don't know how clear that is in text but it was my go-to.
