Can't wait for injuries being the excuse for why TLR gets another chance.8 points

lol, come on. Are you really going to let a slump define his whole career?5 points

Colas earned a walk on a really terrific ab. Fouled off a lot of pitches. Dude's a professional hitter.4 points

I would tell you it pales in comparison to what happens to the picture of Leury when TLR gets a few Cialis and a 6 pack in him.4 points

I'll pass on ever having Sale back on this team. EVER. That was the right move, regardless of the return.4 points

I know broadcasting is subjective, but I don't know how anyone could watch out of town baseball and still not like Benetti. 2/3 of broadcasts are excruciating to listen to.3 points

Davis Martin has been a godsend for a system that is bereft of pitching talent in the upper minors.3 points

Sosa hit that one on the ground. That should buy him a few starts.3 points

Not letting the Sox off the hook, but that is selling Pasquantino way short. He is/was one of the best hitting prospects in baseball.3 points

Stone on twitter: no one was complaining about these hitters in 2020! Relax! Enjoy the ride! Stone on tv: *complains about Moncada* What a self righteous goof3 points

Fabulous, thanks. Just the "face of the franchise" the Sox and MLB wants.2 points

It’s not good when off days are significantly more enjoyable than days this team plays. Can’t wait for season to be over.2 points

Don’t worry, I’m sure all the assholes in the organization will treat the fan base like ungrateful idiots this offseason.2 points

We could use Zack Wheeler about now...10-5 2.69. Then again with Sox offense...2 points

Look at all their left handed batters against our right handed pitcher... Look at all our right handed (who look dumbfounded) batters against their right handed pitcher...almost isn't fair..2 points

They have turned Robert from Trout into Nick Madrigal...2 points

We are driving ourselves crazy thinking this team is anything other than what it really is. A .500 team. They can't go on any kind of winning streak because they don't do anything consistently well enough. They will end up in 3rd place about 6-8 games out of first. Thank goodness College Football is only 18 days away.2 points

It's OK, because Tony built up a big lead in the first half, and now they are primarily playing to enter October healthy.2 points

To be fair, we've been with out Tim Anderson for 4-6 weeks already in a way... Last 30 games: Player A: .286BA, .300OBP, 10 runs, 1 homer, 3rbi Player B: .258BA, .289OBP, 14 runs, 1 homer, 4rbi One is Tim Anderson in 93 AB's, the other is Leury Legend over 49 AB's. Take away? In the words of Marshawn Lynch - got to get your mentals right. Balancing a disaster in your home life and then trying to hit major league arms isn't very easy. If I'm even going to spin zone this, it may be helpful to have him out of the locker room for a few weeks ... Let's see if Sosa can step up and take the reigns. If not, Romy is now healthy too batting .471 in August (1 week) with 4HR last week, 10 RBI.2 points

He is not better than Sheets, not that Sheets is any good. However Sheets is left handed and Franmil is right handed and strictly a DH! We do not need a right handed DH! Plus Sheets' numbers are slightly better too: Franmil in 2022: 262 AB's, 9 HR's, 104 K's, .213/.254/.350/.603 and right handed DH, which we don't need. Sheets in 2022: 238 AB's, 9 HR's, 52K's, .227/.286/.387/.672 and left handed.2 points

The Sox hit Singer well last week so I’m guessing he will put up 7 innings of one hit ball today.2 points

I’m not sure what it is, but Steve Stone definitely has an agenda. Maybe the org is fed up with Moncada behind the scenes, but we can’t exactly take what Stone says about the inner workings of this team as any sort of gospel.2 points

Here's why I don't buy the "Moncada attitude" argument He's playing A+ defense at 3B. If this were some kind of work ethic or attitude problem, his entire game would suffer, not just his hitting. It's either a physical issue, an issue with how he's being coached, a confidence problem, or some combination of those three.2 points
