Weird, I work for a Fortune 500 company and we still have a mailroom at our headquarters ?♂️7 points

He’s an internet tough guy who rarely has any baseball content in his posts. He probably works in a mail room thinking he should be CEO. He comes here to critique posts. How dare any Sox fan come to a Sox message board and complain just because a team has won 62 of its last 170 games in what was promised to be a championship window.7 points

The "bitches" are the fans still loyal to this incompetent, embarrassing, pathetic fucking franchise. The ones still supporting this fucking fraud of an owner, who has been duping poor White Sox fans for 4 decades. f*** this organization, and f*** anyone who criticizes the fans who are, very understandably, tired of this horseshit.7 points

Marlins up 10-1, will win their first game and tie the Sox for fewest wins in MLB. I expect the Sox to be the worst team in baseball this year, there is no hope for this franchise when we have the worst owner along with a GM and field manager who have no business being in their current jobs not to mention a bunch players except for one that no other teams would want.6 points

F-$@ you...you act like we are supposed to worship Sox minor leaguers unconditionally. They haven't come close to earning that privilege. Last year, didn't we also have the worst combined minor league winning percentage in baseball??? Well, Charlotte has the same exact record as the major league team right now. Getz is a joke. So are the White Sox, to the rest of MLB. We're just a complete and total punch line right now...the new feeder team for the rest of MLB. It might be even more embarrassing than the A's situation if Crochet also gets injured again this year out of a desire to impress the fans like they tried to pull with Liam Hendriks last year. We're not even as competitive as those old Washington Generals teams that lost to the Globetrotters every night. Please stop your obsession.6 points

We've gone from debating if Harper or Manny helps the team more to whatever this is on Salvey V Martin. FFS man. This is a sad state of affairs.5 points

The fact that this franchise had World Series aspirations just 2 years ago and is now looking like the 2003 Detroit Tigers needs to be studied.5 points

Well Harold claims he’s basically our pitching coach, so please ignore the poor receiving, throwing, blocking, & hitting and accept the fact our simple minds and all advanced analytics can’t comprehend the value he brings to the table.5 points

What is the rule if a player hits one over the fence but tears his Achilles out the batters box. Does the run count? (Just asking for when Eloy gets back).5 points

The people that asked “where are the haters at” after the one game we won lol edit: it’s not “haters” it’s “realists”5 points

Q: How many 35 year-old players does it take to finish last? White Sox: We don't know, but we're doing everything we can to find out.5 points

But I don’t really understand that comment. 1. Um, what else should they be discussing? No Sox fan is going to be “upset” about Garret Crochet starting the season well, and feel free to talk about it until your blue in the face, but that can only be discussed for so long until you zoom out ever so slightly and realize the hole is so deep, individual performances really seem insignificant given how much needs to change. 2. I’ll never have a problem with someone being positive. My issue comes when those “positive” fans get upset when people are being “too” negative. I’ve been there before, I remember getting upset with people in late 2005, still doubting the Sox even as the playoffs begun. I get it. But after what we’ve all collectively seen over far too long, I just can’t get upset with anyone for being “too negative” at this point. In my opinion, any anger you have at those fans should be redirected to the White Sox. They’re the reason they are angry.5 points

This is what gets me. People spent the entire winter talking about how we didn't sign any good players, the players we did sign sucked, and everyone in management was trash, yet are still freaking out with each bad play and game. I don't even want to see respectable bad. I want to see national embarrassment bad. I want this drug through the mud and questioned in gory detail and mocked league wide. Give me record breaking bad. #TeamBurnThisBitchtotheGround5 points

On pace for 18 wins. Remember when it couldn’t be worse than last year? Getz and Grifol are reaching for new heights.4 points

The whole rotation is actually performing well beyond expectations. It's just the rest of the team is an absolute disaster.4 points

I’ll keep banging the drum for Wilson because he looks like a dude. Fedde has also looked better than I expected.4 points

I saw a video from spring training. It looked better from his other swing though it couldn't possibly look worse. I just don't think there will be any impact there.4 points

Griffin and Rainer are in the mix too. I just want them to take the player they think has the highest ceiling.4 points

On the bright side, Benintendi appears to be the ideal lead off hitter. Through the eight games he's hitting a respectable .094 and he's already scored a run. The $75 million commitment is money well spent.4 points

Because we need one, I guess? Hopefully Crochet can keep up any modicum of his performance. Losing is funny but not fun.3 points

I’d actually be thrilled to see that. Gives them a lot more flexibility with him moving forward. No way they do it, tho.3 points

To be fair, his comments might be the most entertaining portion of most games in 23-24, it’s like slowing down to gawk at a car crash listening to him talk.3 points

Phillips is literally 0/19 against AAA pitching, coming off a terrible ST. I don’t see what Brett Phillips accomplishes. Play Fletcher. Call up Colas. Play Benintendi because he’s going to be here. Want to play Grossman against LHP? Fine! But FFS were 1-7 against, with 6 of those guys against bad to mid teams. This team blows. Play guys that may have a future with the org, or have a chance to actually be useful baseball players or trade chips. This would also apply to Tommy Pham. Makes no sense.3 points

If he can ever stay on the field, it's becoming more clear Robert should probably be shopped. If you really want to fix this thing, it's gotta be totally started over. The farm system, as you mentioned, is far from impressive. Par for the course. The ML team is SO far away from anything remotely competitive, I'd put most of my budget into the draft and development. This is going to take 3-4 years at a minimum. Just the reality of the situation, especially when you consider the limitations Getz will have on him when it comes to signing big dollar contracts. Will they do any of this? Of course not...but I don't see many other options.3 points

They should leave it alone. Saves JR money and they can blame injuries as the reason they suck. Just because they get hurt almost every season , people should be shocked Eloy and Robert got hurt. They should be shocked in the upcoming days when Moncada swings and has an awkward finish and is in pain. They should be more shocked when Crochet can’t pitch because of elbow or shoulder soreness. JRs ways don’t work anymore. As long as he owns the team, and that could be for another decade, I know he’s 88; but he seems to be doing pretty well physically, they might have a decent season or two, but nothing sustained. You can’t sustain it when you don’t develop players and won’t go crazy on payroll. They really weren’t buying the BS they were trying to sell that they were a lot better than the prognosticators thought, were they? I do not wish death on JR. In fact, I wish him good health. I just wish he would see the business has passed him by, he can get out, and even with the additional capital gains tax, leave his heirs more than they ever will need.3 points

Wow. Maybe Harold can tell us why Getz deserves an extension?3 points

I knew this team was going to historical bad before the season started. I pegged them for about 30 wins and am now thinking that was generous. That's why I didn't even think about a spring training trip this year and have no plans to see a game at all this year in Chicago or on a west coast road trip. I'll save my money for things that can be enjoyable (and right now White Sox baseball is not on that list)3 points
