Since April 26th, the White Sox are tied for the best record in baseball. GO SOX!5 points

Cmon. We have more than a right to be 'haters.' Even though the Sox have woken up with Pham and Mendick and a decent starter who is on his way soon, the roster construction is beyond bad. He should be reprimanded for calling true fans haters. I mean, cmon. We haters still want the team to win. We are just appalled at this historically bad team. He must apologize.5 points

Schriff is absolutely adorable and anyone who hates on him can suck a boner. /hottake4 points

I just think referring to a lot of the fan base who sat through years of losing for a failed rebuild and had to sit through 101 losses last year and a 3-22 start as “haters” when they reached 5-22 now 6-22 is a bit much. I hope it’s all peaches and cream from here on out, but we all know it won’t be.4 points

It makes me smile or laugh when he says South side stand up. It's infectious not cringe at all. We all need to lighten up.4 points

I decided on a whim to watch the game last night and that was the funnest I've had watching a Sox game in a long time. I know it won't last but let's enjoy this as long as we can. The back to reality against Minnesota lol4 points

IMO, calling out the fans after moving from 4-22 to 5-22 just further alienates them. They’re 5-22 and all of a sudden the angry fans get called out as though they’ve been wrong to be upset about this team who is nearly on track to be the worst team of all-time? Classic Jerry’s White Sox. It’s always good to see a win. But how about we save the call out for when they win at a 70+% clip from here on out and actually accomplish something—then continue that accomplishment year after year proving again that they care about winning and the fans. You can’t go 5-22 with a roster expected to do just that without making fans angry. Pretty reasonable.4 points

I try not to hate the players, some are just plain bad and shouldn’t be on a Major League team, same with the GM and manager but that doesn’t change my hate for the despicable owner we have. Everything wrong with the franchise is because of him.4 points

Before Pham: 3-22. On pace for 19 wins. With Pham: 3-0. On pace for 137 wins and 0 losses. It's just math.3 points

Yes it does but he sounds happy. Maybe he is just that kind of announcer where it just isn't a gimmick. Sometimes cheerleaders are important too. I'm not too worried that some might not think it's professional. I just think the majority of fans will like him and hatea's gone hate. ?3 points

There are people here who really want the team to win more despite a majority who want to gawk at the train wreck. It's harmless banter moreso than calling out the haters. Both sides know the team sucks but some still root for the Sox to win while others are wishing for losses. To those still cheering for victories and the players it's hard for us to imagine calling the Sox your favorite team while wishing it all gets blown up all the time. A decent amount of people showed up yesterday cheering the Sox on. I like those people who can disregard everything bad and treat going to a game with friends and family as entertainment . Die hards are great but less than diehard fans ( women, kids) just like having a fun time at the ballpark. Here it's like all booing all the time. Ignorance is bliss.3 points

Freaking Sox fan haters being upset about their 5-22 team. What unreasonable assholes. They should go root for the Cubs instead! Traitors!3 points

The logical choice is Cannon, especially with Clevinger going to be added fairly soon.2 points

Our new pay-by-play announcer enjoyed some time in the outfield concourse getting to know us and the park. After watching replays, I liked the way he called out WSox haters during Benintendi's walk off HR. It was about time someone did it.2 points

Nicky brings a...uh...uhhhh **checks notes** ah yes...a "veteran presence" to the clubhouse. So all the youngsters on the team can talk to him about their problems.2 points

Since the White Sox outbid the Padres for the coveted services of Tommy Pham: White Sox: undefeated, averaging 8.5 runs/game Padres: winless, averaging 2.0 runs/game2 points

I have to say, I think he’s pretty good. He’s a little corny, but he’s got a good voice (not the cookie cutter announcer voice most young guys seem to have). He recognizes hard hit balls. I don’t even mind SS Stand Up. Not much different from John Rooney’s “and that’s a white sox winner!” I think he’ll grow out of some of the annoying tendencies he has, but a month in, I kinda like him.2 points
