He had one 10-day stint for back tightness in 2021. Vaughn also had one 10-day IL trip after getting hit in the hand by a pitch. He really isn't getting into "Jimenez, Robert, Moncada" territory.7 points

15-44, but don’t worry, Sox are just catching teams at the wrong time. It’ll turn around6 points

With Vaughn and Benintendi hurt, the Sox are probably better. This puts the loss record in jeopardy. I’m not being sarcastic.5 points

Our manager is a moron. Fire him into the fucking sun. Either way, glad we didn't steal a win here today.5 points

Bunting with 2 strikes, no outs and a ghost runner. Dumbest team in baseball.5 points

Every team has a bad decade now and again.5 points

That’s patently false. At least half of the guys the Sox put out there were not outfielders.5 points

I’ve been telling you guys. This can be pretty enjoyable as long as you stop caring. It’s fun seeing them find ways to suck.4 points

This has turned into such an awful trade. If Mena was putting up the same minor league season with the Sox as he is with the D-backs, he could’ve been traded for someone actually good. Or the Sox could’ve kept him and to see if he could become a back of the rotation starter earning nothing. Brutal.4 points

This is (probably) a once in a lifetime opportunity to watch the pinnacle of suck.3 points

Worst owner in MLB. This is what we get until ownership changes.3 points

Benintendi is the only player on this team I am rooting to fail. When I saw he hit the HR I boo’d him.3 points

Amazing they won’t fire him. I hate Reinsdorf so much3 points

lol I’m actually starting to enjoy watching this train wreck3 points

Lmfao you can't make this s%*# up. Anyways, Benintendi is fucking garbage and I hope it takes him 3 season to recover. Addition by subtraction.3 points

The schedule makers and the umpires have conspired to make the White Sox seem like they awful, when, in fact, it’s just a tough stretch every team goes through. He should be a politician. i have the feeling that one year ago John Schriffen couldn’t name 8 players that spent the majority of their career with the White Sox.3 points

That game was completely rigged and stolen from us. The judge er umps were crooked and the Brewers cheated like a million times.3 points

I don’t have any issue with the way he calls a game. He’s a solid announcer. However, some of the things he says are incredibly stupid. The fans watching don’t need to be coddled or misled. This team stinks. I don’t expect him to say they stink. That would be dumb. At this point, he should just be calling the game. Get excited when the Sox do something good, but don’t oversell. If he can’t figure out a way to be truthful, I think he’ll be equally insufferable if/when the Sox start to win.3 points

I’ve watched about 4 innings this season, legit. Given I’ve been on this site for 20 years (wtf) I’ll never stop following the team, but I can’t wrap my head around actually watching. Way too many other things to enjoy than a group of players on a road to nowhere3 points

You could make an argument this team's level is more AAA or maybe Japan. They are on pace to finish with below replacement fWAR by a good 10-15 wins on the position player side. Sure Robert might help a bit, but you gotta be a special kinda dumb, even coming off a bad season, to produce that sort of smoking crater of a lineup.3 points

The Sox have now had a 10-game (double digit) losing streak in back to back seasons for the first time since 1931-1932. That's how bad this franchise has become.2 points

One side seems correct in their assessment at this point.2 points

I was watching but turned it off when the Sox were up 3-1. Knew they would blow it.2 points

We caught these teams at a bad time DURING THE REGULAR SEASON. As I said THIS TEAM NEEDS AN INTERVENTION. Place them in trust under Melody and Lucas. It is time. WORST OWNER SINCE KAMINSKI2 points

The amount of blind optimism some people had for a 27 year old guy who did good in a 100 ab sample size was wild.2 points

I'm torn. I want the W because Crochet deserves it, but on the other hand, I like seeing a massive losing streak for this clown show of management/ownership.2 points

Do you still believe that Fletcher is a at minimum 2 win player?2 points

I'm gonna play the contrarian today. The Sox will start playing competitive baseball sometime next season. I know it sounds like i've been day drinking again, but I haven't. My enthusiasm is based on our starting pitching prospects. Schultz, Thorpe, Eder, Grant Taylor, Iriarte and a few others added to Garrett Crochet. The Sox have at least 3-4 guys who could end up being a true #1 starter very soon. Maybe no other organization can say this. With Korey Lee catching the bulk of games, Robert in CF(fingers crossed) and Montgomery, Ramos and Gonzalez added to the infield it could happen by All star break 2025. 2026 could be a special year.2 points

Maybe we should put the front office in glasses and then they might discover what a baseball player looks like instead of squinting and saying "yep that kinda looks like a player"2 points

He's trying way too hard to paint a bright picture. A losing streak is a losing streak is a losing streak. He won't get anywhere insulting our intelligence. Same for Stone Poney who really ought to know better.2 points

I feel so much better knowing according to Schriffen that the Sox aren’t that bad and just unlucky that they catching teams while they are hot, I’m sure things will average out.2 points

He has all the credibility of the North Korean state media at this point.2 points

Just watched the highlights on free mlb.com. My gawd the Sox starter wasn't excellent but the relievers got waxed. Again, when you are bad at all phases of the game, at least one area will cost you the game almost every night or 8 out of 10 nights. Brewers played like a real team with all those line smash hits. Pretty much a butt kicking. Another lopsided loss.2 points

If it's one I've learned as a Sox fan, the team has never hit rock bottom. There's always potential for worse. There isn't even a bottom for rocks to be at, it's just an endless abyss of suck.2 points

Just hilarious. All you can do is laugh at this collection of clowns. Not a major league organization in any aspect.2 points
