Our front office staff still doesn't understand twitter photo cropping and we are on lineup 74. I guess no one wants to see who's in the 5-9 spots anyway.4 points

Good sinker and a good sweeper if he could get it over the plate. It seems like the Sox have some young pitching. Almost every trade going forward should be for positional talent.3 points

Me too. My 7 year old granddaughter eats about 50 pickles a week. She'll probably be the first 7 year old with gout.3 points

The great catcher that Getz developed has been DFA. “Mariners designated C Seby Zavala for assignment.“ Never forget Seby.3 points

He played 152 of 162 games last year, and on 162 he currently averages 31 and 21. I’m happy to adjust his production to 93.8% of the 162 numbers, so 29 doubles and 20 homers. Is that better? He has played 67 of the Sox’ 73 games (91%) so if he plays 147 of the 162 games his current pace is…. 28.5 doubles and 20 home runs.3 points

I fear you guys are all getting way ahead of yourselves. It hasn’t even been half a season and he’s not injured yet. That can all change in one pitch, especially with his lack of pitches/innings thrown in his career and his injury history. It’s been a great season so far, no freaking doubt. But bumping this thread to gloat so early is just asking for it. Reminds me of Ventura’s first season as manager when the fans of the hire rubbed it in halfway through the season, and then it blew up from there.3 points

Fedde is on track for a 4 WAR season. None of his peripherals say he's overly lucky, in fact they say that he's basically the pitcher his ERA indicates he is. He's under contract for cheap for one more year as well. If he keeps this up until late July, the Sox should be looking for a guy around top 100 for him. I'd be looking at Giolito-esque value, although the Angels seriously overpaid for him.3 points

Gotta root for the kids and anyone on the trade block if you want the team to maximize trade returns.2 points

Grifol is a real buzzkill for taking the kid out. What difference does a W/L make if he blows it at this point.2 points

I know Schriffen is a clueless idiot but I am a bit surprised that Stone isn’t saying anything about it.2 points

My bad Cannon gave up 1 run in 7 innings his last outing so 1 earned run in his last 18 innings.2 points

controversial topic, salmon are fucked, but we need power. everybody knows about the grand coolie but a lot of smaller plants are potentially going to get torn down to try and restore the fisheries.2 points

I was fine leaving Cannon in, this season doesn't matter but I can see how we want to get him a look in that situation. Pitched through it (and they may let him start the eighth, which I'm iffy on). Either way, pencil this guy in the rest of the year.2 points

So many adds on the site and you’re the last post, so for a second I actually thought wow an add for clown shoes seems so appropriate for this thread2 points

I really wish one of the beat reporters would simply ask the question in the scrum: "Chris, less than a year ago at your introductory press conference, your boss said he thought the 2024 White Sox would be better than last year, and assured fans this wouldn’t be a true rebuild. Are you on the same page with Jerry? What changed?” But of course no one will.2 points

Benintendi's OPS is .343 against lefties this year. Colas has reverse splits. They should be sitting Benintendi at every opportunity, or at least, DH him, and put Julks in LF.2 points

I actually think selling pot at the ballpark is the light at the end of the tunnel.2 points

I think because of his performance and contract he brings back two back half top 100 (75 onward) or 45+FV value prospects. I personally think he winds up in Cleveland for Jaison Chourio and Ralphy Velazquez2 points

I think the format with 3 division winners and 1 wild card was the best we would ever see. Too many teams in the playoffs dilute the importance of the season to me. But more teams means more money, and that’s that. I’m not a fan of basketball for many reasons, and their playoff format is one of them. When more than half of the teams make the playoffs, it’s almost like what’s the point of the season?2 points

Glasnow got $27.5M per. You don’t think Glasnow had a better track record when he signed that contract than Crochet does today?2 points

Are you saying he's not going to play 162 games, or he's not going to hit 30/20? Vaughn punted the first 3-1/2 weeks of the season, and with 2 weeks left in June, has 13 doubles and 9 HRs. If his slump isn't his new normal, he certainly looks like he can hit 30 2Bs and 20 HRs in 2024.2 points

He's a solid 3rd starter elite 4th. Not an ace, control problems even when he's got his best stuff that we didn't see from Sale and so far Garrett. That's really what separates the elite from the good, having that great stuff but also having pinpoint fastball command almost every start. Rodon when healthy had it more often than not as well.2 points

Crochet doesn't walk anyone(shocker) He has a better K/BB than Sale in 2014.2 points
