An empty headed scumbag b****, who the team propped up and gave every opportunity to be the face of the franchise. Lynn, Keuchel, Grandal, etc. were never the heels, They called his s%*# out in private because they saw what he was. Team bent over backwards to protect him for years. He's avoided a lot of blame for being a gigantic part of where things went wrong with the team.13 points

How's TA's game-calling ability behind the plate? Asking for a friend.11 points

Making the least controversial statement in my SoxTalk posting career, Tim Anderson is not as productive as Nicky Lopez.10 points

I feel for TA. A fan favorite and someone who I enjoyed cheering for. His fall is crazy. Wish him the best.10 points

I wasn't celebrating. Just point out facts to someone that never acknowledges them.7 points

Celebrating that Nicky Lopez is outperforming Tim Anderson is like being happy that you came in second to last place in a Pinewood Derby competition in the Boy Scouts.6 points

I’d love to produce more written content at FutureSox. I just have a family and a career and we can’t really pay anyone. It is what it is. I still break stories ahead of people who are actually paid to cover the team occasionally though. That’s always fun.5 points

Those numbers aren't going to cut it for a 1B only player who sucks defensively.5 points

Are people really bitching about a guy not making a 0% chance throw in a meaningless game on July 2nd with a team 40 games under .500? Come on people, who gives a f***.4 points

Let's see you write about this god awful org with any effort or enthusiasm on a regular basis, and then we'll see whose analysis is meh or too jokey. For Jim Margalus and James Fegan, it's their full time gig and they can dedicate all of their energy to it. For the rest it's a side gig making pennies. Maybe educate yourself before casting dispersions on the many dedicated people who care to put for the effort covering this fucking abomination of a franchise.4 points

Sale had a better base, much closer to his innings explosion, than Crochet did. I have yet to see anyone as a comp for what Garrett is looking at this year. I have asked a bunch of times, and there has never been one provided.4 points

Why do we PH Pham for our catcher, with no real advantage gained? I don't understand.3 points

Every time I see people talk s%*# about TA I remember this is the same fan base that embarrassed themselves by booing Frank Thomas relentlessly and remember what they have in common.3 points

So why is Kopech a headache and not TA ? Kopech's had knee problems.I don't see you cutting Kopech any slack.3 points

Yeah, the idea this has been all in his head, but nothing to do with his injuries to his most important tool (his legs) is laughable.3 points

Like seriously, you can blame off field antics all you want, but how does a leg injury for w dude that relied on his legs get constantly glossed over? It's probably a combo, but it'd be like "Albert Belle's career was derailed due to him being a crazy son of a b****" and ignoring the degenerative hip.3 points

On May 22, 2022 TA was sporting a slash line of .359/.400/.517. Then the story about TA saying Josh Donaldson’s calls him Jackie went national and he hit .246/.283/.286 the rest of the way, with 1 HR and 6 RBI. Then followed with the disastrous last two years. Bizarre3 points

I can very much deny that I want his shitty glove replacing anyone on this field. Did you even look at their stats3 points

100% they are treating him like they don't care about his long term health implications. That's the first thing that told me he would be traded.3 points

Spreading fake news based on your TikTok videos? You should be ashamed.2 points

I'm also guessing the sheer ineptness on and off the field has made coverage and readership of the Sox perhaps at its lowest point since the late 60's - 1970 for both mainstream and internet media. As Charlie Finley once said (talking about Bill Veeck's ownership) "You can't ballyhoo a funeral..."2 points

It went through the media, once, way back when, that Derek Jeter went to great lengths to keep women...not resentful and talking. Gift baskets, and all. That probably also included some form of birth control.2 points

Dude, I thought you were joking and then found this via Google… https://www.tiktok.com/t/ZTNMY2Wnr/ Wow. Tim must not listen to The Score and hear how easy the Vasectomy operations are these days, with no scalpel and no pain! I am guessing once Tim can’t find another contract for a few million is when Bria sends him the divorce papers and takes half of everything.2 points

He just got another jumpoff knocked up I believe. Lovely. What a bum he turned out to be. Used to love the guy.2 points

I really enjoyed TA up until his last year with the White Sox. He epitomizes the downfall of the White Sox. From a potential face of the game (White Sox as team to beat) to DFA'd (White sox as worst team in baseball). TA has no one but himself to blame...........This is an example of an athlete who threw his career away because he let the off field indiscretions dictate who he was.....2 points

Certainly not one to give the Sox any benefit of the doubt (you have much more than I) but I do wonder if this has been a calculated decision, to showcase him as much as possible because they know they will be trading him. There is historical data that does back up what you're saying, and if Crochet was viewed as a long term investment for the Sox, you would think they would handle with more caution, especially in a season when they are the worst team in the league.2 points

I would consider it malpractice if he goes 150. That's double his his entire career and nearly triple his season high. I think they are more than he should be now. But they are with him so they know more. It will be interesting to see how he performs next year after this workload.2 points

Hopefully they change their logo too. The giant red arrow pointing down was a sign of things to come for the Sox.2 points

That was me. I'm surprised they have let him go this many innings. They are playing with fire. I guess they are really confident in the strengthening program for the rehab for the UCL reconstruction. It will be interesting to see what next year looks like next year.2 points
