The fact that is has reached this point, and every decision maker still has their job shows there is a lack of competiteness with the organization. How they can't be embarrassed beyond belief is stunning.6 points

One of the biggest jokes is hearing Getz and Pedro talk about how JR “wants to win.” Listen…JR does NOT care about winning. Billionaires who want to win do what it takes to win. They spend money. They don’t tolerate losing. They invest in coaching, resources, prospecting. They invest in their fan base to keep energy around their team. They target the BEST available people—whether it be players, managers, front office, etc. They simply do not allow their franchise to decay in any way that would affect winning. This is not Jerry. He wants to lose. He’s good at losing. He practices losing. He has all the assets available TO win but chooses to LOSE. Frankly, it’s insulting every time I hear how bad Jerry “wants to win.” Give me a break.6 points

Every single coach needs fired. The fact that we are sitting here looking at the worst team in MLB history and people are saying that certain people still have job security is INSANE5 points

Which is why we need to cheer for the record. I hate rooting against my team, but let Jerry & Getz reap what they sow with this. The national media is finally going after these clowns with full force and at some point Jerry has to take the earmuffs off and realize he’s single-handily destroyed this franchise and must step aside one way or the other. It’s very possible, even likely, that the Sox will never be competitive again in Jerry’s lifetime with the damage he’s done. And why I think he gives two fucks about us fans, he’s also costing his heirs a ton of money by turning this franchise into the second biggest joke in sports behind the A’s. Might as well keep losing at historically bad levels until he’s willing to acknowledge he’s the problem.5 points

This would have never been allowed to continue with any other manager/coach in any other professional sport. This is really something.5 points

Here's a stat: Mark Teahen's career fWAR with the Sox (-1.4) is higher than all of the 2024 Chicago White Sox position players combined (-5.6)5 points

The Score sucks, and Riordan is a douche. This "feud" actually makes me like Schriffen.4 points

Waste of space. There is enough of a sample size to know that he sucks and he's not going to get better with this org if I'm being honest.4 points

This is a troll play, by a troll radio station, by a troll radio personality. I do wish we had people who didn't stoop to the level of giving this guy any legitimacy by acknowledging his existence and giving pseudo credibility to him by treating him as worthy of being responded to.4 points

This right here. if you didn't maximize a trade return for Fedde, his signing was pointless.4 points

I retroactively nominate this for worst Sox trade of all time. Tatis / Sosa simply took (chemically) enhanced superstars out of the Sox system. This trade gave a division rival the tools to destroy the entire system and major league roster.4 points

If my math is correct, between the 5 mainstream sports of hockey, baseball, football, soccer and football, there are 153 teams. We are the worst of the worst. Last in every category.3 points

Bring on number 22! Close enough now, to just get 24 and be the class of modern day baseball.3 points

Was Riordan the producer when Parkins & Spiegel brought a player's disgruntled ex girlfriend on the air and let her bash her ex for 20 minutes unencumbered?3 points

One for every person who pays to be there! [the good news is this joke works in Chicago or Oakland.]3 points

Precisely. By literally just keeping his mouth shut about the topic, Schriffen wins by virtue of not being employed by The Score. Instead, he's decided to stoop down to their level, where they'll beat him with experience.3 points

"The crux of Riordan’s argument was that he wouldn’t risk his credibility by reporting false information. " Lol, I assure you Shane that you are risking nothing.3 points

The cubs are going to hand them the record setting 24th loss on Friday, you couldn't have planned this out more perfectly3 points

He's also done multiple negative things. At some point 27-88, an unfathomable record, needs some accountability. The whole place should be cleaned out. It won't obviously, but the inac tion so far is a middle finger to the fanbase. Hopefully, the fanbase gives it right back.Pedro is a premier brown nose. What he was saying about JR in the papers was beyond laughable.3 points

"Sell the Team" chants in the crowd. Dunno if it's for Sox or A's - but probably both.3 points

This losing streak is the best thing to happen for those like myself that want more media criticism of the worst trio of all time3 points

Because Baldwin still might have a future with the team. You want him playing every day no matter whether that is Chicago or Charlotte. If you want to adjust the roster, fine, but Baldwin should be starting 5-6 days a week.2 points

My Twitter timeline is full of pictures of players with their heads in their hands and Grifol leaning back in the dugout, but the video of Vargas just shell-shocked is the worst2 points

I wouldn’t attempt to cope like this. We have seen plenty of players leave this org in the last couple years that have been much better in another uniform. The Sox forgot everything it takes to maintain an organization in the last 10 years or so, and their instruction and support has been absolute dog s%*#. Kopech will probably be fine2 points
-
On the topic of Kopech being good/ great for the Dodgers. Well, the Dodgers were extremely happy to have Lance Lynn right after they traded for him from the Sox. But they weren't too happy when he gave up four home runs(five if you count the one that was barely foul) in a row to the Diamondback in the playoffs. Make no mistake, Kopech has an outing or two like that in him, a total head case. Sure he's great while everything is going smoothly for the Dodgers, but put a little heat/ pressure on Kopech and he will again have a 4-run 9th. He is who he is; you can't fix a head case.2 points

I really really want them to break the all time losing streak record against the Cubs this weekend. The ultimate embarrassment.2 points

For Eloy his entire stint with the White Sox centered around not having one ability. Availability. And when he was available, he was usually walking wounded. For a guy who was one of the top hitting prospects in the game to go absolutely no where during his six years year in a White Sox uniform when he should have been owning the game of baseball, both with his obvious charisma, and with his hitting ability is disappointing for most fans. Coming along and trying to talk down to everyone who feels this way, and then to drag the corpse of Andrew Vaughn who was never in his league to begin with as some sort of coping mechanism really doesn't achieve much. Bottom line: Eloy Jimenez was a massive failure and one of the faces of the Sox failure, along with guys like Michael Kopech, and is going to be remembered on the south side as such.2 points

I view Scrhiff as a hyperactive young kid that drives you nuts. In this lost season I cannot stop laughing listening to the disdain for Schriff. I am loving it, South Side Stand Up! More Schriff disdain please, I find it very entertaining, much more than the everyday Jerry Reinsdorf hate2 points
