We live in a simulation. This is not real5 points

It’s not standard time until November, dipshits. No wonder why we’re losing 122.4 points

I’m with Rusty. Although I thought that front moved in incredibly fast, any reason to s%*# on this organization is a good one.4 points

I'm not sure that that is the only thing he's done right. It hasn't gone well so far. I need more time though. I need to see what moves are made on the front office side this offseason. It's a really important winter. I run the White Sox prospect blog, FutureSox. I really don't get very much access and it doesn't influence my coverage. I criticize the team all the time when I feel it's warranted.4 points

It was mind-boggling that they allowed the game to start at all. The radar showed a huge, severe storm slowly heading toward the area. And on the broadcast you could see the pitch black sky in the background. Then they post on Twitter that "unexpected" thunderstorms caused the game to be suspended.4 points

The ex girlfriend was on Twitter today dragging him about drug use. He’ll never play another inning in MLB for the rest of his life. Probably the worst acquisition in Getz’ first year although the fact you can preface that statement with “probably” shows how incompetent and overwhelmed Getz has been thus far.4 points

Wise is the better catch because of the scenario. Take the situational context out and this catch is absolutely more impressive.3 points

I don't see how these schmucks win 6 more games....I'll take the under.3 points

This should have been a true statement prior to this season but he can thank the White Sox for that one.3 points

Literally nothing has changed since Pedro was fired. It's the same stupid baseball team, the same arsonist bullpen, the same terrible defense and the same lack of any offense. Grady even has a lower winning percentage than Pedro did.2 points

Just the dumbest team in baseball. Eight years in the Getz farm system and this is what we get.2 points

You named three of the very best players in the game. I think you can still be a superstar without being in that upper upper upper tier of players. That being said, he really does need to start showing more. Really disappointing season.2 points

it kills me to say this but Robert is nothing more than a average baseball player. i’m starting to think his “slump” is nothing more than who he is. Turn on Yankee game and watch Judge or Soto, a Royals game and watch Witt or an Orioles game and watch a few of there players and you see true Superstar type players. Robert is no where close to being like that!!2 points

I really thought it was incomprehensibly bad baseball when this team was winning once a week earlier in the season....I have no idea what to call this nonsense.2 points
-
The Veeck years were mostly bad, but during the 5 seasons he owned the team in the 70s and 1980, they were a combined 68 games under .500. They are about to be 71 under this year alone.2 points
-
Probably not as bad as losing 128 games and not getting a top ten pick2 points

We forget that only a minimum wage worker was willing to manage this team.2 points

I get that, but the White Sox should at least give not giving the opponents best players a great chance to beat them a shot. The other way hasn’t worked.2 points

I wonder how many people are interested in the game vs. interested in gambling.2 points

Chris Getz will have the worst win percentage of any GM in the history baseball and we'll keep hearing about how it's definitely not his fault.2 points
-
And they’re going to be just as bad next year. Attendance is going to be crazy awful, and JR will keep using that as a reason to not invest in the team.2 points
-
They may have largely come “out of nowhere” but 4 pitches is insane incompetence. You’re telling me they didn’t have 2’ of warning? That doesn’t seem entirely plausible. There’s a reason it’s the first game in league history suspended before a single out.2 points

Another historic record for this awesome franchise2 points

100%. Let’s be honest…Getz has had a lot of bad moves, but signing a known piece of s%*# that zero other MLB teams had an interest in because…he was a known piece of s%*# and then having multiple people talk about his “clubhouse presence” calling him a “good teammate” and mentioning “character.” It’s disgusting. Has a media member ever actually asked a serious question about the handling of the Omar Vizquel and Wes Helms situation?2 points

The real answer. A young player trying to establish themselves isn’t going to be down about going from a good team where he isn’t playing and is spending a lot of time in the minors to getting an everyday job in the majors. Vargas needs to make massive improvements over the off-season and find a way to start actually hitting the ball hard or he’s going to find himself out of baseball really quickly. Especially since he’s also horrendous defensively.2 points

I wouldn’t put a ton of money on this one.2 points

JR's lame ass is trending on twitter. I feel sorry for kids in Chicago man trying to come up as sox fans. this is not what us 30-55 or so folks aged knew as the product, as insufferable as JR was otherwise. This is unfathomable levels of bad.2 points

If two estranged parents disagree about physical discipline, yeah, it could be problematic if one parent ignores the other's wishes.2 points

I'd be happy for the Sox to announce they reupped Mike Soroka for a year, and in the announcement, say, "We're doing this to ensure we will never sign Mike Clevinger again."2 points
-
Meaning no offense, but it’s my understanding that you report on the Sox in some capacity? Given that, I understand why you would take a more conservative approach to criticizing any aspect of the team as that can play into access to the team. The rest of us don’t have that issue. We can let loose and blow off some steam. The guy sucks. We don’t want him making decisions anymore.2 points
