Wow... second time Caleb leads the team and they f*** it up. Eberflus doesn't run another play.3 points

Don't sell this group short. Even when the team was good, Soxtalk sucked.3 points

Well the offense looked better, Caleb looked clutch as hell in the 4th quarter, and we moved one step closer to closing the book on Flus.2 points

Lmao yes I feel owned when you reply and tell me how ten months ago you definitely thought against the grain against everyone else and were so right. No the truth is, when you reply I read it like Charlie Brown hears his teacher, and it becomes more or less just an annoying sound of someone desperately trying to tell someone else they are “right” and that they are “owned”(😂). And I just stopped replying period because you are insufferable, not because I feel that you are right or I feel owned, but because the conversation has zero point for me or anyone else viewing. And I know this is true especially now because the point you are getting mad at has nothing to do with anything you ever said that I replied to, but rather because you found something and tried to make a mountain out of a molehill and cast me as the ignoramus that you are so sure that I am. I don’t think about you much when I’m on this site. It’s just for the best 👍😉2 points

I agree Abreu is a spare part for the Red Sox . He's a better spare part then Vargas but still a spare part. You need to suffer a little when getting high quality. The process can't be relatively painless for your organization.2 points

I also didn’t like the delay of game penalty and loss of five yards to try to get an offsides call when you want to pin the Packers back as much as possible on the punt.1 point

Seems like the biggest difference is some designed plays for Caleb to run, which I can get behind. Not a great half, but progress1 point

Thank you for being the most masturbatory, condescending, has to be right about literally every conversation you are ever involved in. Like I have told you many times before, I don’t engage with you because of how you talk within your responses. I shouldn’t have responded earlier when you were spoiling for this interaction, but I did, and that is my mistake. f*** off Cali1 point

Thank you for your uninformed and useless assessment based on your ignorance.1 point

I’m excited to see the impact he has on players like Wolkow, Perez, Bonemer, Zavala, and Albertus.1 point

I’ve been to Dodger Stadium, the edifice itself is no better than GRF, it’s the setting itself that makes its sort of cool sitting in Chavez Ravine and with the grandstand actually built into the side of a mountain. It’s a nightmare getting out of the parking lot and there is absolutely nothing around the place.1 point

There's a few other posts on that account explaining other adjustments he's working on. He's working on deepening his hands and keeping them closer to his body. I assume this is to make him shorter and quicker to the baseball which will help him be on time more often.1 point

It's really not like Crochet was chloroforming the starting pitcher every 5 days and tying him up in the janitor's closet. It's a silly argument to assume anybody who came through the minor league system wasn't "developed" because they were so freakin' awesome to start with. Sillier, still, to discard all of the adjustment and work the staff did with Crochet during a year where practically nobody thought he would reach October alive.1 point

Speaking of the Red Sox, Boston already has a starting LF in Duran and CF in Rafaela. So Abreu is the 3rd outfielder especially since he only had had success against RH. So with the soon arrival of Anthony, Mayer, Campbell and Montgomery Abreu would be a perfect target for Red Sox to offer in a Crochet trade. White Sox need to get a better main piece than Abreu1 point

Or this is just a nice excuse to defend yet another horrible Getz trade. Fedde finished with a 5.6 WAR last season. Get out of here with this garbage.1 point

What else are we supposed to be doing in a speculation thread about trades?1 point

None of its an actual issue. Installing a antenna isn’t hard, getting a VPN to go around blackouts isn’t hard, dropping my cable and getting a far inferior cable package without internet isn’t hard. i just have zero desire to do it, because they have zero desire to compete. Such is life1 point

The Sox do seem to have confidence in drafting big tall hard-throwing lefty starters. I’m not arguing against the Hagen Smith pick but in a draft in which almost everyone thought they should be taking a bat because the Sox lineup is devoid of talent, they went to their bread and butter instead. It almost seems like they have no confidence in which bat to take when it’s not a consensus/obvious pick that is available at their spot. And when you look back at the bats they have taken in the first round (Collins, Madrigal, Vaughn, and Gonzalez versus Burger and Montgomery), we should probably hope they keep taking lefty starters instead.1 point

People vote against their self interests all of the time. They did it a week ago, and will continue to do so with the right story being fed to them.1 point

Honestly if this election has taught me anything, it's that people have insanely short attention spans, and they will buy just about anything if it is packaged right. At the end of the day, the perfect time for this to happen is right after an election is where the electorate has time to forget it and be reeducated on what happened.1 point
