  1. As someone who sells said service, this isn't even close to accurate for the majority of people who try it. Heavy gaming is a different story though.
  2. I'm guessing a very large % of fans will buy the antenna (it's honestly not that big of a deal in my opinion). I just did myself, $20 best buy essentials antenna and the quality of the picture/sound is BETTER than I expected. I'm in Northwest Indiana for reference.
  3. And the sad thing is they got to draft Verlander for their troubles after their 119 loss season. We get to draft 10th...
  4. The AL record is 119, the MLB record is 120. You were kind of right either way.
  5. No respected manager will willingly want to manage this dumpster fire of a team. Nor unfortunately, would Jerry pony up for one even if said manager somehow DID want to manage this dumpster fire of a team.
  6. It doesn't matter who we put out there, lefty, righty, ambi-turners, in general as they all suck (save Robert).
  7. I don't think he Burger trade was bad (I was one of the only ones defending the trade at the time). We sold at his peak and he's been awful since.
  8. Looks like they wanted to get #20 out of the way early.
  9. That would possibly fly if we didn't just watch the Rays trade for significantly better prospects for a worse player.
  10. Manny Machado is not a HOF. But yes, the way we negotiated that contract was hilariously inept.
  11. And he has every right to be. Hahn and the Sox brass bungled his development every step of the way. I would say it's astounding how bad they fucked it up, but it's the White Sox, so it's unfortunately not.
  12. Who is Roberts? We don't have any players by that name.
  13. Nobody is saying he isn't "pretty good", they're saying he's not peak Verlander like the resurrected quoted post mentioned.
  14. I was thinking the exact same thing. It WOULD be our luck for that to happen. In fact, I EXPECT that to happen.
  15. No, he wasn't. Dave Dombrowski is on record stating that they told the Sox they would not be willing to give up Devers when the Sox asked for Devers to be included in the trade and the Sox had to come back with different players. In an alternate universe where Devers is the headliner and not Moncada, sure, he was on the table. But in ours, in the trade we made, he wasn't.
  16. They didn't settle for Moncada, Devers was never on the table.
  17. The Franchise record is 13 losses in a row in a season, which we just tied.
  18. Insignificant how? It's still massively popular in Chicago. Unless you mean culturally speaking?
  19. It sure as hell is more fun than 3-22 though, I think we can all agree on that. And not only that, we can't draft higher than 10th, so trying to win makes too much sense.
