  1. Not the most dominant outing for Burke, but he settled down and limited the damage.
  2. This spring's starters at 2B / SS / 3B: 2/22 - Meidroth / Monty / Vargas 2/23 - Rojas / Amaya / Sosa 2/24 - Gray / Meidroth / Vargas 2/25 - Sosa / Monty / Rojas 2/26 - Meidroth / Amaya / Vargas 2/27 - Rojas / Gray / Sosa 2/28 - Baldwin / Amaya / Vargas 3/01 - Sosa / Meidroth / Rojas 3/02 - Baldwin / Amaya / Vargas 3/03 - Rojas / Meidroth / Drury
  3. Jeff Cohen, while enthusiastic, gets a bit out there, sometimes. As of right now, Benintendi's shooting for OD, but if he misses, it's Colas or Fletcher. I don't think Gallo makes the team. Narvaez is just a body. Multiple games being played every day with multiple sets of 9 position players. Gray is infield depth with a little jack. There's really 8 guys who will be jockeying for starts at AAA. Some of those guys should move to the pen if they can't pull it together.
  4. Coffey threw 35 games at AAA last year. He'd probably go back to AAA.
  5. No. He was hitting 94 on the 23rd and sitting around 93 on the 27th.
  6. Can it be dead arm period? Eder's gotten through his first 2 appearances fine. Where is he supposed to be? 95-97? Other than that, S. Wilson and Pallette looked steady.
  7. Something something about Enzo Hernandez, Tito Fuentes, Bill Almon, Kahlil Greene and Tim Lollar. Oh yeah, Sixto Lezcano and Luis Salazar, too. Alan Wiggins.
  8. Eder was throwing 94 against the Royals on 2/23. Sitting 93 against the Guardians 2/27.
  9. Teoscar swung 3-0, also. I guess desperate times call for desperate measures.
  10. Tyler Glasnow has been in the league for 9 years, and he's only amassed 13.7 fWAR and 8.8 bWAR. crazy
  11. Oh, of course. I mean, the Dodgers only put 2 of their future Hall-of-Famers in the lineup today. Andrew Vaughn may someday get his number retired by his high school if he keeps up the alumni dues.
  12. Sure, the team who signed every single free agent pitcher available this offseason is going to shut down an offense. Weird how a "laughingstock" is getting this reaction from the World Champs. They must have thought today would be easier.
  13. bringing in relievers for specific matchups... in spring training? Are the Dodgers actually trying to win? They're probably looking at the Badres getting walloped by Royals' minor leaguers, and want to separate themselves from that nonsense. Freddie Freeman swinging on 3-0, Dodgers throwing their helmets...they seem really frustrated by half a Sox lineup.
  14. The SoxMachine schedule indicates it's on MLBtv, but I don't see the yellow "free game" tag on the game score header on MLB.com. It also says there's a radio webcast. White Sox 2025 spring training broadcast, MLB.TV schedule
  15. Apparently, CWS minor leaguers are more Darvish's speed, at this point.
  16. C- Quero, Teel 1B: Elko 2B: Meidroth SS: Montgomery 3B: Ramos OF: Veras, Gray, DeLoach, Tatum, Mitchell, Julks P: Adams, Eder, Nastrini, White, Pallette That is SO much more interesting than the lineups that the Knights rolled out a few years ago. Thank you, Mike Shirley!
