I hope to God that in 10 days, we're looking at Sosa, Colas, DeLoach, Fletcher, maybe Ramos, maybe a guy or two from trades. Eloy, Senzel, Benny, Sheets - this is uninspiring.

There have been a few where I think he's alluded to high school kids having some unrealistic demands.

There were 54 MLB ranked kids who went undrafted. Most of them are high schoolers and college sophomores. If they're pie in the sky on their bonus, and they're the 150th ranked prospect in a weak draft class, why not gamble on weirdo reach prospects who have room to grow instead of gumming up the works with unrealistic tweeners?

Ramos hit the team, sat one day, then started the next 8 games. I imagine Baldwin's up here to play, but if he's clearly overmatched, there's really no reason to watch him strike out 3 times a game for 6 weeks. Development isn't a bumper sticker slogan. Nobody's married to watching a prospect die with an .009 OPS. I feel Baldwin will get a fair shot, and if he's overmatched, they'll ring the bell.
