Oh fuck this. There was no proof he tagged him.
Seriously? It couldn’t have been more clear. He 100% tagged him.

Win these upcoming series against Minnesota and Cleveland while not looking like amateurs or a drunken beer league team, then perhaps we can talk.
You did say we’d be “lucky” to win 2 of 6 out west. We already have 3 wins and could possibly get 4.

Why did Burger pinch run for Vaughn? I hope Andrew isn't hurt.
As far as Moncada being toast, in my book he's been toast for a long time, I would work Burger's ass, hit a 100 balls a day at him in fielding sessions, have him lose a few pounds to make him a decent 3rd baseman and then give him the job.
Burger isn’t fast, but he is faster than Vaughn. Vaughn doubled with two outs in 8th, and TLR was hoping Burger could score from second if Robert singled. Many questioned why it wasn’t Haseley running, but it ended up being the right call to save Haseley because no way Sheets would have scored on the game winning run.

I mean does anyone have any confidence in this series?
I think we take 2 of 3.

Wasn’t Keuchel 5th in Cy Young voting in 2020? I’d certainly call him “reliable” that year.

That team doesn't make the playoffs in a real season with only one reliable SP.
Who was the one reliable SP?

“Is that all correct?” had me dying of laughter
“Ok so for 100 bucks (gift card), I get 30 minutes with you. I can make out with you. I can eat your pussy and fuck you raw. Is all that correct?”
The gift card part had me dying as well.

They just lost 3 of 4 at home to Baltimore. We’ll be lucky if they go 2-4 on the west coast trip.
You think 1-5 is more likely than 2-4? I’d take an over 1.5 wins bet.

Clearly something is in the water in Charlotte.
Can we send...everyone but Tim down for a while.
Has Yolbert really cooled off since getting promoted to Charlotte? If so, very strange.

Just turned the game on. When did Lynn and Burger have a kid together, and when did he start pitching for the Orioles?

I’m late to the party, but let me see if I understand:
One of our biggest needs is second base. One of our best prospects is a second baseman. We call up said prospect and the current subpar second baseman gets hurt. And yet, the prospect still isn’t playing. This can’t be a real life story.

I watch a lot of random baseball, and especially a lot of the Twins, and every team does this TBH.
FFS 2 TEX OF almost killed themselves a week ago against us.
Yep. Sometimes collisions are unavoidable, even with guys who know how to call for the ball. If the ball is in a perfect spot where nobody can get to it without sliding/diving, then nobody is going to call it. It’s just an unfortunate situation sometimes.

I don't know what is going on. But how many near collisions have we seen? I don't see it nearly as frequently in other team's games. Yeah it seems silly for coaches to hold meetings about calling for the ball, but with how many times it's happened, perhaps its something that should have been addressed *before* someone was lost for the season.
That’s probably because you watch more White Sox than any other team. It’s similar to how every fan base thinks they are the worst in the league at getting runners home from third with less than two outs.
-
I hate Tony and want him gone ASAP, but I can’t believe people are blaming the coaching staff for that collision. Give me a fucking break. Do you want the coaches to hold meetings or practices and teach the guys how to call for the ball? That’s little league stuff. If you can’t communicate by the time you are in the major leagues, practices/meetings aren’t going to help.

We definitely have to start playing well head to head against Cleveland and Minnesota or we are gonna see a lot of Jim Mora around here.

Beyond bizarre the asshat didn’t use Graveman in the 8th.
Who would have pitched the 9th then? Also, it was the bottom three guys in the order for Toronto in the 8th. You wanted to use your best option in the 8th and then have somebody else face the top in the 9th?

Engel is 4 for his last 30 and has looked brutal at the plate. The other three are hitting it pretty well tho.
What were odds that Engel would get intentionally walked in the 12th inning of the game tonight? ?

What a large fucking win. Down 2 runs with two outs and nobody on against one of the best closers in the game, and we got it done.

Jose can’t move. Do you pinch run Leury?

Can’t believe Haseley is about to hit a walk off two run bomb.

Was there a freaking reason we threw Davis Martin in the 8th instead of Velasquez?
Because Martin is a better pitcher?
