  1. I’m really pumped for this game tonight. A 5-1 trip when three of the games were in Houston would be phenomenal. Then we come back home and get TA back.
  2. The five days could just be because of the rehab stint rules.
  3. Way to step the f*ck up, @Chicago White Sox. Needed these two wins. Has Jake Burger single handedly won 3 games for us in the last couple of weeks?
  4. What a huge win!! I’m in Greece right now with minimal connection to the real world, but this could be a really large win.
  5. Shit, nice win. I’ve been needing “carrying water” to complete my card.
  6. The only nice thing about getting off to this poor start is that if we do make the playoffs, we’ll likely be trending in the right direction come playoff time.
  7. Maybe June 7 for the start of the Dodgers series after the off-day?
  8. There’s definitely a high amount of frustration and panic around here right now. I’m curious which people think we make the playoffs and which do not. I don’t want to hear any “ifs”, like “if the offense wakes up…” or “if we get healthy…”. You are welcome to discuss those things, but I also want a simple yes or no answer from everyone who wants to participate. As we sit here on May 28, gun to your head, do the White Sox make the playoffs this year? I’ll start: YES
  9. Impressive by McGuire. Wasn’t the one time he didn’t get the job done when he struck out and everyone thought TLR should have pinch hit Grandal for him?
  10. I believe Cameron and Brett Boone went back-to-back twice that game…IN THE SAME INNING. Will that ever be done again?
  11. Thank you. Can it be a white gummy bear? Or maybe even a red/green combo gummy worm?
  12. I’d just like to point out that I called a series win when most people here were hoping for one out of three. Let’s keep it rolling!
  13. Yes sir! Big win. P.S. Have you ever had a “winner” post typed up ready to submit, and then we lost? Perhaps the blown game to Cleveland earlier this year?
  14. Did the Red Sox pay off the prospect ranking websites as well? And did they then also secretly pay Moncada some extra money to pretend he was good with those 4 and 5 win seasons?
  15. This vaguely rings a bell, but I can’t find any confirmation of that. I did find an article from February that didn’t mention anything about retiring. Can you confirm, @Y2Jimmy0?
  16. Sosa and Bryce Bush were two of my favorite prospects back in early 2019. What happened to Bush this year?
  17. I’m glad we’ll be heading into that Boston series over .500. Hopefully we can keep the momentum rolling against the Bo Sox.
  18. Do you play all of them in game 2 also? I think he wants to rest guys that have been on the IL. Resting Moncada is understandable I guess, but I'd probably play Vaughn both games.
  19. I am by no means trying to defend TLR here because some of his lineups are ridiculous, but when that many guys have bad numbers, it's on the players. Any lineup you put out there will have a handful of guys with horrible numbers because we have been horrible offensively this year.
  20. That stat is always misleading because the quality of the player on the IL means so much. Now, I have no clue who the Dodgers have been without, so perhaps they have missed some games from pretty important players as well. But missing Lynn, Giolito, Moncada, Vaughn, and Eloy has really hurt. Is there a stat that exists that takes WAR/162 from the previous season or the previous few seasons and multiplies it by the games missed due to IL for each player? To me, that would paint a much more accurate picture of who has been hurt the most by injuries.
  21. If you want to know what the Sox could have gotten for Rodon, you need to specify the exact point in time you are referring to. Trade value is all about years of control, health, and performance. All three of those things varied greatly over the course of Rodon's tenure with the Sox. So if you want to know what Rodon is worth, which point in time are you asking about?
  22. 13 of the 16 wins have been close games (1-3 runs).
  23. Hey, let’s not exaggerate! We won’t hit the 20% mark until the bottom of the 4th inning of Sunday’s game.
