  1. When a bad owner threatens to leave you pay for his charter. His replacement could not be any worse.
  2. Answer: baseball White Sox and Reinsdorf. Question: name the three least popular things in Illinois.

Sox decided to go with unlisted numbers this year.
  6. Defense is like a minimum standard before you tend to winning baseball.
  7. The Royals desired site is fully developed including a church. Good luck with that.

Sheets' continued tenure in RF suggest Sox management was barely trying. They tried Colas who I like but is not ready. What else?
  9. Recalling the NB Ryan exit at Roosevelt I have often used. It's like a bad can of spaghetti often backed up even on weekends.
  10. Their lack of talent plan is to have cast-offs compete for jobs. That won't even get you to Opening Day. They could do better hoping some Dodgers end up in the wrong clubhouse.
  11. At a minimum the Sox would have to retire all GRF obligations before retooling the ISFA pipeline for 78 funds. Anything else is simply not acceptable or tolerable to the public. In any event there is not enough funding to also fund Soldier Field and a new Bears project.
  12. Cuz Jerry knows It Takes A Village (Idiot) to pay for all of this and it darn sure ain't going to be Jerry. I don't know the answer to all of this but it's going to take a lot more smoke and mirrors to git er done.
  13. My Uncle Clevis from Battle Creek could build a better team.
  14. He knows nothing about the Dodgers so why not the Royals.
  15. OK Gertz is going fundamentals and we have Sheets to match up with the visiting sluggers who will bash our brains in. ? It takes years after havin' Gavin to find a couple of decent sluggers.
  16. If I was a coach waiting 10-12 years for a managing gig I would have drawn up a master plan and strategy for winning baseball.
  17. After three years of Gavin Sheets as your LH power bat you have Gavin Sheets again. At least Vaughn is one of their top RBI guys.
  18. Scott Merlin is a sycophantic orifice. Gertz can't figure out what he is doing. Just acquiring 4A guys and see if they stick around. Maybe next year he will have a plan.
  19. I've been going to Sox Park since 1963, often on the El and have never been mistreated. You have to breathe in the local vibe and run with it. South Loop is fine and the new downtown will be reinvented as the Sox join in.
  20. Naivete would be finding out that the new 'Park Jerry' is AI only. It's still sort of almost kinda real.
  21. Adding to the historical charm, the only source of artificial light will be the fans' cell phone flashlight settings, sponsored by Duracell on Google Play.
  22. I would hate to hear the word Wrigley south of Madison St. Bridgeport is a big yawn where teams go to die. The new location changes everything.
  23. To me the parking is a red-herring because I am not paying $50 for the privilege it will surely cost. Wondering what the useful life of the new park will be projected as. Also I was waiting on any comments about what the field dimensions should be or what they are considering. Finally, will there be any gender-neutral plumbing accommodations for either the players or the fan(s). If they extend the river walk it would allow a wonderful safe hike from the Loop offices with a group of walkers.
