  1. Aaron Civale allowed one run last start against the Sox who are on a 6-14 run at Erie City. Some of us thought the Native Persons were dis-armed when Bauer and Kluber left but they contributed very little last year while Bieber and Clevinger were dominant. Cease needs to step up big-time to support our withering staff. Bieber with 14 K's Opening Day figures to pitch Wednesday. Can the Sox darn their holes and play competent baseball? No dis to Grandal but I want McCann to catch more. Jose could sit this one out against a tough righty.
  2. Having multiple teams in one stadium is not uber-practical in my view. Imagine the Sox are hosting the Tigers and oh the Jays and Yanks are stopping by for a few games. You would have to build extra locker rooms at a minimum. There would be more exposure for sure.
  3. It's just so hard to wear those darn masks. Not really worth it.
  4. I did not say the players but rules should be enforced. No dessert, no girl on pizzas delivered etc.
  5. Everyone has to wear N95 masks or it is over. Teams should be penalized for infections.
  6. I don't think Lopez has it physically to pitch right now. Just my take. Good luck with Gio G.
  7. I could see Gonz on a field trip to the IL. Coaches should have known Lopez was not ready to start. Really bad day at the office.
  8. Earl Weaver would stick Lopez in the back corner of the pen and make him prove he deserved to pitch (except for Jim Palmer).
  9. Creo que no fue llamado por jugar hoy con las Medias Blancas mas por unas otradores.
  10. I wish to suggest that Eloy is still a project, becoming a more complete player and has a relaxed joyful approach. He also backs up TA7.
  11. Since the day he got here James has been one of our smartest players. Hitting the other way is an effective skill.
  12. Uhhhhh so THAT'S what a righty specialist does? Never knew!
  13. I never liked Yolmer but you need an IF glove in your arsenal. FYI only one Sox trip to Twinkieland on our quirky schedule.
  14. Randy Dobnak replaces Rich Hill who replaced Jake Odorizzi. I doubt the glasses and moustache will be a factor.
  15. That's not the Berrios I remember. Lucas will not face Kep again.
  16. WNY is a 2.6M market and the interest in this is huge. Jay's made a smart move to add to their ratings and base next door to CA. AAA town gets an MLB visitor.
  17. OK Buffalo will be the Jay's main home at least. "We are extremely grateful to have a home in Buffalo this season, thanks to the openness, creativity, and partnership of the Buffalo Bisons, Major League Baseball, and Blue Jays staff, who have worked tirelessly to prepare us for games at Sahlen Field," Blue Jays president and CEO Mark Shapiro said in a statement. Great news for a city that has taken a knee to the groin for 50 years. They just made that city very proud and happy.
  18. The long-delayed wedding between Comcast and Marquee was consummated in a midnight Vegas ceremony. You can find Marquee on Comcast 202. I am now receiving that channel but expect my bill will go up.
  19. Love the opening ceremonies everywhere. I would choose and celebrate the song America by Ray Charles which has no equal. Time to clean house, no announcements necessary.
