  1. Rickey was on the throne and saw Bejeezus on his tp. BJ said Skole.
  2. Walton catches trout when he is streaming.
  3. Every game Lopez serves a few fat ones he cannot help it.
  4. Jose could improve on the low sliders but maybe it's a vision thing.
  5. They pick up some real trash along the way.
  6. Sanchez can bunt every time but he just got a single.
  7. Every would be MLBer would see that lineup and take the Greyhound to Chicago. What an opportunity. Positions available.
  8. August 20, 1965: Interesting musical date in Sox-related history. The White Sox traveled to KC and shut down the A's 3-1 behind the masterful pitching of Gary Peters. The only run allowed was a solo shot off the bat of Ken Harrelson, but Gary drove in a run himself to make up for it. Back in Chicago, The Beatles were hosting a day-night DH at Comiskey Park. Before a mostly female wildly screaming combined throng of over 50,000 fans, the Fab Four played a matinee and evening set of their hits of the day. Not surprisingly, they gave up touring the following August having tired of the utter madness and not being able to hear themselves play. There was not a more popular, awe-inspiring band in our lifetimes.
  9. The guy turns his season around to negative reviews. Take care of your own when they have earned it. If the Sox sign three guys maybe one will perform well. Alonzo Santana Reed Jay to name a few recent ones.
  10. Shocking with a bad shoulder to boot. Most great talent never reaches peak goals because of injuries.
  11. Pretty impressive. So we should let the pitchers bat.

I dislike forums with tiny print duh. Those hacking messages have been there for months. Maybe they forgot to pay rent.
  13. You bring him back because he is a known quantity and pitching depth is essential. More injuries could be- likely be looming. Coop must feel he can work with him at this point.
  14. Not only is he a good catcher, he is still growing into his game and we need him to train Collins. He has bought into the South Side and his name is on our next trophy. If you watch the Castillo games you know James is important. Aside from our crippled pitchers we had three position players come into their own and Eloy is likely to do so next year. Add LouRob and Magical with Jose and the lineup is not so bad. Need to add a quality OF and SP for next season. I would try Eloy in RF because that was his first home. I forgot Vaughn and maybe Mercedes.
  15. Would you mess with his swing? Be careful there. He needs to run out those triples just in case. If I was a player I would be like Eloy, blowing kisses to my mom and running into walls just for fun. I could see 50 HR in a year or two.
  16. The legacy of diving plays is a Joe Crede back injury. Bill Melton too. I would think twice about encouraging these plays but also learn how to protect yourself.
  17. Really juvenile post. Tatis has a back stress issue and it could be serious. Staying healthy is a huge issue for the promise of young talent including Robert.
  18. People saying that Walton is doing the FoD game next year. Strange.
  19. Like Yogi Berra from a parallel universe, bathing in meth. God save the gene pool.
  20. Watching replay of Wellington Castillo run out a double - "that's the epitome of Usain bolt" “That’s the catcher! That’s the guy! I have his bat! How did he hit it if his bat’s up here?” "White Sox on their way to another championship... who's gonna stop em?!" Bill Walton: “How many children do you have?” Benetti: “I don’t have any.” Walton: “What’s up with that?" "I think he's out. I don't know what the rule is." "What's the score? 5 hits and 4 hits... For the winning White Sox and the... A's?" "I'm waiting for a nighttime, iridescent rainbow to come and arc itself over this stadium." “They moved the fences back!" So you’re like a time release capsule. No, I’m much more like a slot machine. Everything just sort of rolls at different paces and different speeds and different directions, like the wheel is turning and you can’t let go, you can’t hold on, you can’t stand still, you can’t let go. And what’s the jackpot on a Bill Walton slot machine? You’d have to ask my wife Laurie. on Patrick Sandoval being pulled “He’s done? They don’t throw him into a volcano now, do they?" "Rainbow is my favorite color" "What a fantastic turn of events if you love the Chicago White Sox, and I'm falling in love by the breath" on Bo Jackson: “Maybe we’re related." "what's your favorite Bo" Walton - "Beau Bridges" On flyballs: "How do they know where it's going?" What’s this pitcher’s name? Bummer? He’s not a bummer, he’s a meteor! He’s an asteroid, soaring through the universe! "You cannot wait for the game of life to come to you..." Walton: Print the banner. Line up the parade. Michigan Ave on the Studs Terkel Bridge. Division Street. Let’s go. Thank you. Thank you, Chicago, for your patience. Benetti: Thank you for my life. “I love streaming. I often run into Trouts." "Wow the Big A! On the mystic highway, the golden road to enternal salvation. Who's the new pitcher?" “Have you always been a catcher?” "What did you eat before the game?" "I apologize on behalf of the human race for destroying your broadcast" Is the noise in my head bothering you? “We’re in the third inning, how many of these do we have??” "That's where I won my first championship game... fifth grade. We won the sixth grade championship that year. We played in the girls gym." “Minnie Minoso? Or is it Minnie Mimosa?” “Make each day your masterpiece” "what's your name again?" "it's never over, it just changes" “Now that is great defense, oh my gosh, now how many outs is that?” “One” “How many do you need” “Three” "There's another game tomorrow?!" "Have you ever met Nancy Faust?" "Yes, I know Nancy." "Is she still alive?" Walton: "I need to call my wife about this." Benetti: "The wonderful Laurie? I would love to meet her." Walton: "You haven't met her? Because I have." “My older brother stole my food and used to beat me to a bloody pulp."
  21. Willing to bet that ElJay is a better RF. Just like Adam Eaton. Eloy has the mental makeup to be successful but he likes to clown around and have fun. He might surprise some people.
