Granted Moncada got a lot of bad calls but if you are challenging the K record you need to bring a lot of something else in your game. One thing we saw was Moncada and Anderson being worn out because of the roster situation. MLB doesn't care if teams end up with two bench players. The only other option is having pitchers who can hit and field or hitters and fielders who can pitch. If MLB added two roster spots some teams would add two pitchers. Not a good situation.
Bullpen night because they have zero pitchers qualified for a Sept audition. Very little mlb progress this season amid a progression of forgettable relievers and outfielders. No other way to spin it.
People who have to announce they are leaving are obviously quite needy and they almost never really leave. There was an Elton John song about a guy who was going to end it all except to stick around for the funeral and see what a ruckus he raised.
I have Covey penciled in as sixth man out of the pen which is valuable enough. I do not think we have seen any minor league SPs this month which seems a bit unusual. We had Kopech come up and I guess no one else was ready or worthy.
Palka is hot but he seems to have been improving. It would be quite unlikely that he is not on the roster next year. They might not have room for both.
Palka is making himself indispensable and has the state of mind to succeed. Just give him some space and room to do his thing.

Polka does have more HR and RBI than Schwarbs and is a better OF. For a muscle bound guy he gets around ok. I expect him to reach 30 HR. Now who would have predicted that in April. Just so nice to watch a guy step up this year and achieve something on offense.
Would it be imprudent of me to want Rondon on the team instead of Sanchez. I have seen enough. Also I have no interest in Davidson grooming habits. Just play some ball.
The lower level is a fancy restaurant, upper level is more casual and popular. You won't have much of a view. Good chow but limited selection upstairs such as nachos wings and meat sandwiches. Some salads for the babes.
Granted he looked silly on some breaking balls this week so he will have to learn to lay off. He has the emotional makeup to be successful and he expects to succeed. Never batted in the bigs before the Sox. He deserves at least another year to DH. I hope Elroy does not end up there but his glove may be suspect. Lord knows we need more offense.
Not to be giddy but I think he is still improving. Hitting to LF has made him a more complete hitter I believe. Needs to reduce the Ks a bit but is approaching 800 OPS.
