  1. CAN THOSE TWO STOP F***ING DOING THAT JESUS F'ING CHRIST WHAT THE F'ING HELL
  2. Yeah, I was about to during the pre-game and forgot. He's made MLB Tonight's "top prospect performance of the night" list every night since he went to Charlotte. lol
  3. Indeed. Most KC pitchers are. But here we go again... with another trip through the top eerily reminiscent of the past week.
  4. Not saying it will be. Simply that it's the only logical move. Whatever he was doing was not working with the White Sox and if he wants any shot at a big league career? He needs to make adjustments. Charlotte's the only reasonable place to do that. Continuing to send him up to the plate with the big league club is like pounding your head into a wall over and over again. Adjustments mid-season can tend to make things worse before they get better. Let him get 6 weeks of PA's with the pressure off. He got a taste of the big leagues, fell short... He can look at it as a learning experience and adjust accordingly. Next time he'll come up with a better idea of what to expect and how to approach it.
  5. A lot of fans even dismissed the idea of Tatis Jr. being valuable. Very interesting read, indeed.
  6. Good. Collins has a lot to work on and can't do that with the White Sox. He needs to retool his swing and get as many PA's as he can before we see him back in a month and a half.
  7. Okay, that strike call was a joke... But... Yolmer looks horrendous, regardless.
  8. The entire second half to this point has been shameful offensively. We have been the worst team in baseball over the past four days.
  9. You gain absolutely nothing... and you deprive him of half a season's worth of innings to work on himself for 2020. It's just a confusing take man.
  10. No, no... Keep swinging over that slider guys. It will work eventually.
  11. I seriously can't tell if you're joking. If not, did you quote the wrong post? Lol. I don't know how that could possibly be construed as either of those things. For all of the b****ing (complaining) the board does about Jay (three dots to indicate a pause) Yeah... As in... not bad. And defensive? You're including defensive within that post? When nobody had pressed me on the issue? How could I be defensive if it's the first mention of the subject? I am so utterly and completely confused. Have you been drinking? There's no way this is the right post. You meant to include something else, right? If this is really the only post you meant to infer. How wonderfully convenient that you leave out my very next post where somebody does make a Jay comment and I respond by saying that I simply like him more than the three AAA/AAAA outfielder's we've had to this point. "Oh no... he thinks Jon Jay is better than Chuck Tilson. He's gone mad with Jon Jay fever!" You're are either being drunk or intellectually dishonest. Regardless, put on the clown nose and dance. You've earned it for the evening.
  12. Yeah, he can't seem to get the pitches he desperately needs. Something definitely there tonight.
  13. Could you please point out where I got excited? lol. Thanks bud Unless you think saying "I would rather have him in there than Tilson, Palka or Cordell" as being "excited". Defensive too? Really? Seriously, point this out. Do it. Find the post.
  14. I have and will continue to think those diminishing Gio's first half performance are absurd. That being said, a good team would be smacking him around tonight. This is the only start where I've actually thought he looked any less sharp. In the other outings, his stuff was on. He just had an inning in each get away from him.
  15. It's remarkable how SoxTalk does all of the things they rail against on such a consistent basis. A week ago on this forum... "Well, all I know is that after 15 AB's he'll either be a god on this board or worthless trash! Haha!". 10 AB's in... and it's the knee-jerk reaction we were all sarcastically talking about. Another conflicting statement on this board. "Collins needs every day AB's. How can you expect him to hit otherwise!? No one has ever hit without 4 PA's a day!" A week later... 10 AB's into Reed's career. "He looks horrible! Enough! Clear Charlotte material!" Ah, never change boys. Never change. Not to mention that the same people dismissing Reed entirely. Want Collins playing everyday, despite looking even more helpless.
  16. I mean, this is his 14th game. I would much rather have him in there than Tilson, Cordell or Palka.
  17. He got a glove on it after a short hop. Don't think the rule has changed regarding catching pop-ups on a fly. I have missed 4 games this season Grand total. I don't know if seeing them all would make much of a difference. I find that most fan-bases think this about their catchers. Which is likely due to the fact that they don't realize that a pop-up behind the plate is a 5x more difficult play than an infield pop-up or fly ball. Every catcher has a handful that they lose each season.
  18. For all the b****ing people do about Jay on this forum... Yeah...
  19. He ran the wrong way...? Lol It was a bunt popped backwards. You have no way of knowing where it exactly is and only tenths of a second to be able to locate it. He located, went full speed and dove towards the spot. If you had ever caught, you would know how silly that statement is. A bunt pop-up isn't even in the same category of play as a swinging pop-up behind the plate anyway. Difficult for two completely different set off reasons. I also have never noticed McCann being poor with either and I doubt you can quantify it.
  20. What else could he have POSSIBLY done on that? lol
  21. Yeah, I posted that right before the first. I thought Moncada would have a big night tonight.
