He made that play look so easy. So much talent on that guy to be struggling this bad. I'm still rooting for him, despite everyone having soured on him because of his personal choices in life.
Let's state this right now, before we go bitching about LaRussa upcoming management of the pitchers for the next 3 innings, the offense has FAILED big time once again.
And I can rip Hahn for Yoan but :
a) every scout and GM would have failed with him. The guys was a "Can't Miss" #1 prospect.
b) After that 2019 season, the contract he gave him was a no brainer.
It's hard to watch him. The few hacks he takes are on dead meat fastballs he can't even handle (whiffs, fouls off, or pops out).
If you can't square up a dead center fat fastball in this league, you have no chance in this league.
This stadium is just death valley.
Haven't seen enough games there, does the ball not carry there at all?
Plus, it has horrible TV optics. It feels like the Trop.
