  1. The guy went out and a scouted Abreu, came back and convinced the cheap ass owner to write a massive check for a late 20s players who too many was a high risk based on age and quality of competition. Enough said.
  2. No he didn't. The happy dancer at 3B fueled the floodgates to that inning where he gave up 3.
  3. We are the "easy" part of everyone else's schedule we keep claiming we have the rest of the way.
  4. 2 weeks ago, Stone would not have been questioning the skipper. A lot going on here. With the Bob article, then Kenny coming down, Thomas calling out the BS on the postgame, then Ozzie the same last night, and now the leading Cheerleader in Stone following the line now..... Heads are about to roll. Hopefully it's not just LaRussa but better take Hahn with him. They are both equally at fault at this point, and I'd say Hahn is actually higher for me.
  5. Telecast no longer holding back on calling out LaRussa's in game idiocies. It's like if green light was given from up above. Sort of like when Stacey King was just clowning Jim Boylen during the telecasts right before he was dumped.
  6. Would like to see how many of those runs were given up by the bullpen as inherited runners. It's as if we forget how bad our bullpen is. Pick your poison. Try to squeeze the last drop from the SP or just hand it over to the gas can bullpen?
  7. I mean, that's all nice that he points the thumb at himself. But how is he going to get better? Does he feel 100%, is he tipping pitches, does he feel like he can't trust anything offspeed? I think it's getting very late to only be at the stage where you're recognizing you are bad. How are you going to fix it ASAP?
  8. People don't even pay attention anymore.
  9. Francona needs to tell his group not to go 100% to avoid injuries. He is being reckless.
  10. After that finish last season, what a letdown this Luis Robert season has been so far.
  11. Go figure, when the game isn't on the line the bullpen comes out and posts zeros.
  12. That's the equivalent of Grandal stealing a base. Wow
  13. That guy looks zero like Ray Liotta. Jason needs new prescriptions.
  14. Let's be realistic here. Unless Hendriks, Reynaldo and Graveman could cover the remaining 15 outs, I think I'd much rather roll dice with the Lynn going 110 vs Foster, Velazquez, Banks, Kelly, or Lambert. It's a bad situation either way and a looming DH sure makes it worse.
  15. Outside of Cueto, not too many guys quick to jump up off the bench to give Lynn some love. We might have found our mole.
  16. Last 3 seasons, so many Homeplate outs we can't catch. So damn frustrating.
  17. Pick your poison. I rather die with Lynn out there.
  18. Abreu knocking on the door at .300. (.297). One of the best season turnarounds I've ever seen. The guy was dead for all of April and most of May.
  19. For Jack, it be the 1 win he was giving them of the 8 games coming.
