Well, Moncada is still in extended spring training reps right now. So that's more understandable. However, at the very least I rather have him taking DH reps over Abreu at this point. But maybe they wan to keep his running light altogether.

Full strength for us would include Vaughn and Eloy. Even then, with the free fall regressions in Abreu, Grandal, and Pollock....I don't see our offense ever being able to go toe to toe with the Yankees or Astros.

This is so far from the truth. He's on a "pay as you go" deal, for nickels. He's just not ready yet, plus I don't think they're ready to dump Keuchel just yet.
