It's only a gaping hole if you think Andrew Vaughn will be a bust out there. Andrew Vaughn needs to play everyday and he is going to get first crack at the lone open position right now which is RF.

Everyone "fake turning in" their imaginary fan card, yet come April they will all be there.

The Sox need additional RELIABLE starting pitching. Carlos Rodon is far from being reliable, and especially not for $18 million.

Carlos Rodon: Has topped 150 innings once, all the way back in 2016 69 120 34 7 132 Those are the innings each season following. You guys are out of your minds if you're OK with handing out $18.4 million for that.

Right, so for a team that counts every next dollar, why take that risk?

Is this accounting for all the missed time from key pieces like Robert and Eloy? The Sox win closer to 100 games had they not missed those guys 2/3 of the season.

You're the 2nd person doing this BS comparison. Keuchel + Kimbrel + the rest of the pile of asses they have gathered via free agency doesn't even get to 50% of the $$$ commitment to Harper / Machado in free agency. I think that's where you guys continue to mis-read cheap ass Reinsdorf. He's fine paying $180 million in payroll for one season, He just refuses to pay that to one guy for 8 seasons.

Because at the end, no matter how fucked up management is, talent prevails.

Fine, you can go live under your dark cloud. The reality is, The White Sox are a Championship Contender. I know it's hard to grasp that, but go ahead and be miserable.

And truthfully, I hate this front office. I hate their drafting, their development, Free Agency work, and short term philosophy. They have lucked their way into building a Championship Caliber Roster. And for that, I'm 100% grateful and positive.
