I think that's furthest from the truth here. Maybe some folks have confidence that the other 8 in that lineup should pound the ball as well as any other team in baseball.

You only have a 25 man roster to use here, you can't have a 7 man rotation.
Ideally, Kuechel would take the Adam LaRoche route and problem solved.

I'd be willing to bet out a Steak Dinner and Gibson's that outside of a miracle trade or injury, Keuchel will be in that starting rotation to start the season.
