  1. Outside of the 6 week week hot run from Abreu, he has been pretty mediocre this season. Amazing he could still lead the league in RBIs
  2. Initially thought the same, but the replay shows the runner was already 3/4 to 2nd. Gotta know where you are going with the ball right away. Know your base runners, know the lead taken from 1st.
  3. We really look like a dead ass team every other night. Can't win in the playoffs this way.
  4. Honest question, is he truly any better than Mendick or Garcia starting at 2B?
  5. He's close to finishing with a sub .700 OPS. That's going to be a very disappointing offensive rookie season.
  6. Listening to AJ for the first time, he's out of town stupid (stealing that line from Terry Boers) on the White Sox. Just clueless.
  7. It's pretty hard to give baseball a viewing screen on NFL Sunday, after this game tonight for hell sure I'm just glancing at the box score tomorrow. This is a hard watch.
  8. Going 6 and 100 feels like a monumental accomplishment. Kudos to Lance for sucking it up here.
  9. It's a balancing act, the bullpen is so overworked at this point. The starters need to figure this shit out.
  10. Abreu and Eloy going on a cold stretch just in time for the playoffs.
  11. I cringe when people say the ML season is too long. After going thru all the damn injuries and still hold my breathe for the rest of this week and next, I'd welcome a 120 game campaign at this point going forward. Today's players are just way too fragile to hold up for 162.
  12. Lance Lynn is the last guy I'd want to piss off by playing lackadaisical defense. That's two from the right side of the IF.
  13. Moncada being a sub .800 OPS guy is mind boggling. All the tools and talent, wish he'd have a lot more pop at this point of his career.
  14. Vaughn plays an adequate RF, which allows Eloy to stay in LF (per his demands of not wanting to DH). So why not go Sheets/Burger at DH, or hell, Sheets/Yermin?
  15. Nope. Your best hitter always hit on top, anyone that wants to argue Moncada is a better hitter than Robert right now doesn't know what they're talking about.
  16. Moncada has no business hitting 2nd ahead of Luis. That needs to change. What a bomb!
  17. 100%. We don't have the fire power offensively to get into a slugfest with the Astros. We have just way too many guys inconsistent in our lineup, health playing a big factor on that. Give me the weaker offensive team who we stand a chance to be able to pitch against. The Sox took 2 of 3 from the Rays here at home and dropped 2 of 3 there (but the two losses there were with Kuechel and Reynaldo starting).
  18. As I was saying last week, good chance the Astros jump the Rays and we head to Tampa.
