  1. He's too valuable to trade. You'd be hoping to get a player of his caliber back and most likely wont. He's under a great contract for someone of his stature and he's just about to turn 26. They should do everything they can do to build around him while he's here, not look to get rid of him.
  2. So he can hit a pop up or strike out? Give me the unknown quantity over the known.
  3. Him and Eloy and now Eloy will try to do too much.
  4. That was the most pimping I think I've seen Robert do.
  5. Is Eloy not on the elevate BP sessions like everyone else?
  6. The fact that they continue to play Gavin Sheets instead of him is one thing that really annoys me with this team. Gavin Sheets is exactly what he is. He's a statue in RF with a decent arm. He's butcher at first. For his size, he doesnt hit nearly enough HRs and he isnt a good enough hitter to get by without hitting those. Colas should be up whenever the next home stand is. There is no more reason to give Sheet consistent playing time.
  7. Colas with 2 more HRs tonight, but we need to see some more of Gavin Sheets just to make sure.
  8. Colas with his 2nd ? of the night.
  9. Colas made an attempt at the wall and came up limping. Believe he stayed in the game though. Edit: He smoked a line drive home run off the RF pole.
  10. FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Friday, June 30, 2023 WHITE SOX RECALL CARLOS PÉREZ FROM CLASS AAA CHARLOTTE; OPTION ADAM HASELEY TO CHARLOTTE OAKLAND – Prior to tonight’s series opener at Oakland, the Chicago White Sox optioned outfielder Adam Haseley to Class AAA Charlotte and recalled catcher Carlos Pérez from Charlotte. Pérez is hitting .246/.305/.434 (56-228) with 10 doubles, 11 home runs, 29 RBI, 16 walks and 27 runs scored in 59 games with Charlotte. He appeared in three games during his first stint with the White Sox from May 7-13, going 1-4 (.250). Haseley is hitting .222 (8-36) with two doubles, two RBI and six runs scored in 28 games over two stints with Chicago.
  11. Perez recalled and Hasley send down. Interesting.
  12. Nick Madrigal has more HR's then Tim Anderson on June 30th. Woof.
  13. Here are their infielders on the 40 man. Who else should they have called up? They were hancuffed with who they could call up without having to make another transaction. He missed a week of playing time, not a month.
  14. He was only called up because Sosa was on the IL and Popeye was already on the 40 man.
  15. Popeye should be playing instead of Andrus while he's up. He wont be worse.
