  1. Montgomery is hitting .209 at AAA Charlotte. Do they expect him to hit better in MLB?
  2. Stone is 77 years old. Most people would have been retired for a decade or more.
  3. Again, the White Sox gave up nothing and got nothing in return.
  4. Big improvement. The White Sox lost by only one run.
  5. Looks like the Tigers want to punish the White Sox for beating them yesterday.
  6. It's that hefty 3 for 20 (.150) that Robert has hit since his return that makes the lineup look much better. 0
  7. Robert is apparently ready. He was hitting a sizzling .100 with 2 hits in 20 at bats in Charlotte.
  8. Woodford has a very respectable ERA of 5.26 this year at Charlotte.
  9. It's too early to give up on Montgomery. But his potential has gone from nearly a sure thing to iffy. The White Sox have two interesting prospects for third base, shortstop, or second base in Baldwin and Gonzalez at AA Birmingham.
  10. Why not? Nastrini has a very respectable ERA of 5.83 for Charlotte in six starts.
  11. If Fedde continues to pitch well until July, Getz might be able to trade him for a 36-year-old reserve infielder.
  12. Two through five in last night's game went a robust 0-16.
  13. Let's not get excited about a 36-year-old Pham. He had a couple of decent seasons with the Cardinals six or seven years ago.
  14. You don't rebuild with the players he acquired in this past off-season.
  15. How has White Sox management's love for failed former first-round picks going? With that in mind, it's obvious that Shewmake isn't the answer at shortstop. How about promoting Brooks Baldwin and saying goodbye to Shewmake? Baldwin is a switch hitter. As far as Montgomery goes, see if he can figure it out at AAA, or perhaps drop him to Baldwin's spot at Birmingham. It's too early to make a judgement on Montgomery, but so far AAA seems a little rich for his blood.
