Frustration is what I heard. I wouldn't say negative.

Also do not take this as they are not signing either. This is how some in the org feel at this moment. This seems like it is changing on a daily basis. Almost feels like the FO is on this rollercoaster with the fans. I tend to think that Hanh will sign one. I think that when you are too close to the situation you can't see the whole picture. They have to sign with someone.

Did not go into detail. Source kept changing the subject after I asked multiple whale questions. Could tell they were getting annoyed. Had a good talk about Jay and how much they like him.

Total Frustration would be the way I would describe the conversation. Asked what the chances are of the Sox signing Harper or Machado. Answer: Not good. Sourced explained how much time and effort was put into these presentations. Hahn and co are working extremely hard and might pull something out. But this person is frustrated to the point of not seeing it happen. I do not know anything about other teams. Shoot me a PM if you would like a little more info into my source. I think 99% of what you read is fake. Especially numbers. Hahn an co do not leak and keep everything tight to the vest. I'm sure that the Sox are also going after Machado. I mean one does not trade for and sign Yonder/Jay to not try to sign Manny.

Can always extend Jay and Yonder on the cheap. I would think we would get the best out of them as well. I can see Yonder having a good season if he can stay healthy. Yonder has hit in some tough home fields in his career. The G Rate might be just what he needs.

I think Manny signing with Sox and having his 2 workout buddies might push him to be the best he can be. Corny.

I can't comment on other teams but I know the Sox and Harper have been in contact frequently. Manny will probably come to an agreement 1st with a team but don't think for a second that Sox are out for Harper.

I would not be so sure about that. The Sox are still very much in on Harper.

Random question while we have some downtime. If you were to break the Manny to the Sox story would you post 1st on Soxtalk, FB, Twitter, Reddit, All? Would you try to market yourself if you were a say a Realtor? Or just go down unknown in social media infamy ala katyperrysbootyhole or wetbutt23? Asking for a friend

I would but not that type of situation. Plus no evidence if I just talk to him/her face to face.

Agreed any numbers out there are pure speculation. No one besides the top levels of the organization agent and client know the numbers. These types of things do not get leaked by organizations.
