This is a key point to keep in mind when assessing prospects that I think a lot of people somehow forget. (Basically that MLB players are better than MiLB players, lol) Vaughn needs to see AA ball before he can make it here. He's not ready. Even though he does show some positive signs. He has the chance to be a good one.

So what "scouts" are that damn balls-on accurate? Supposedly we've been bad at scouting. In reality, a player being successful comes down to a number of things and you can't quantify all of them, you just can't. Neither scouting not statistics will be the be-all end-all every time. Saying you don't need a sample size to make a judgment is just plainly and simply false.

So far most fun of my first fantasy season of The Show 21 was taking that guy off the team.

You do have a point. But again, for me the thing is WE DON'T KNOW YET. Projections and what actually ends up happening often do tend to be different. We need to give him a better time frame than less than half a damn season to make a judgment. And more than that, posts with pictures of midgets from Wizard of Oz? I'm not deflecting from the arguments against him. They make some good points. But again, the sample size is less than half a fucking season and a poster I responsed to apparently wanted to compare half a season to 5 years. People are letting their bias against Nick make them say some pretty stupid things. We do not yet know what Nick will amount to. Hell, we still don't know what Moncada will amount to. Or Vaughn. Do those players have higher ceilings? Yes. Does that guarantee they will be better. The menus are awful? What? The menus are easy to navigate for the first time; much more organized. Other than that, mostly agree. They added new features and for me it's about standard for a Show game. The thing that sucks is this is their first version for next gen and they didn't rehaul anything. The game should have gotten a graphical upgrade. And since it didn't, it lacking a few features 20 had makes no real sense.

Overreactions on the Madrigal discussions here might be the most embarrassing thing I can remember seeing play out here as long as I have viewed this site. The meathead takes on him and bias against him is just so out of control. I am fully willing to admit his future could turn out like what detractors suggest, but it is TOO EARLY. Period. No one has any fucking patience anymore.
