  1. Does LaRussa honestly strike anybody as the type that would "do the right thing" for others and actually resign?
  2. Between this and apparently no words or collaboration between TLR and the players/coaches, this is just looking like a catastrophe.
  3. I hope you see my point, though. There definitely can and likely will be some consequences from the organization being this bush league and stupid.
  4. What if said candidates left prefer to avoid this dumpster fire organization? The pooch may have already been screwed.
  5. Simple truth is the franchise we are fans of is total fucking bush league and a joke.
  6. Then I'd say this conclusion is mere speculation. And to assume he'll never add power or... get any balls deep into the outfield is a little silly. Weird to me how people consistently don't take into consideration a rookie player's possibility of learning to make adjustments as their career progresses.
  7. The guy is a base hit machine and never strikes out. Why exactly is him not having HR power an issue?
  8. Oh Jesus with this crap already. Again, it was emphasized how excellent he was in the minors AND in his MLB rookie year but because he's short (the fuck does this matter?) and didn't do a great job baserunning IN HIS ROOKIE YEAR people are shitting on him. Makes no sense. Nick is exactly the type of hitter the Sox have been needing for years. Dude can hit over 300 his rookie year and never strike out but fuck him, he's short. Yeah, Soxtalk overall is a great site but you're always gonna have your share of laughable nonsense and Nick is the subject of a lot of that. Look how panicked people got about Moncada and declared him a bust after 1.5 years in the majors. There is definitely a lot of impatient knee jerking that goes on here.
  9. Indeed. Make it so that these Trumpets can't make the usual whataboutisms.
  10. 75 million people voting for that scumbag is still too damn high. I'm glad Trump's reign is over, but we have to realize the damage has still been done. I fear irreparable damage may have been done and we need to do a lot to get back to where we were. And God forbid Ivanka or Donald Jr. make a grab at it next time. I'm not trying to downplay the victory. But the fact apparently almost half the country twice voted for a lifelong conman, bona fide cult leading Fox News Grandpa (and so many other dangerous things) is just fucking insane. The goal was acheived: fully expose the ignorance in this country. It happened. It can't be unseen. I really hope we can get back to where we were. But the fact the last 4 years even happened will forever be a dark, catastrophic stain on our history. And don't get me started on how badly we need to change this archaic voting system, ugh.
  11. How about this. Somehow Charles Manson is allowed to run for President. Of course this is absurd sorry and would never happen, but I really do actually believe that if this happened, a lot of Republicans would still vote for him because, "At least he doesn't kill BABIES like Democrats!"
  12. The problem is, as easy as it is for us to dissect this type of stuff, these people don't see things this way. They are literally Brainwashed the point where they believe every legitimate Source out there is lying to them but some random guy with an unsubstantiated or unsourced tweet is telling the truth. I literally had a family member whom I love very much literally verbatim say to me that they will not be swayed by empirical data. It's incredible. The power of confirmation bias it's almost unfathomable.
  13. All I have to say at this point is you cannot claim you are patriotic and support a President who literally says, "Stop counting the votes and declare me the winner, everyone knows I won." These people are always the one who tell you to leave America if you don't like the way things are. If you support that shit, then maybe YOU ought to move... to North Korea where dictators actually might do shit like that.
  14. I'd be happy with it aside from the fact I still want Ozuna.
  15. 1. Means nothing. 2. Ummm... not if they resign McCann. Which should be a priority. And Yadi isn't gonna backup anybody, lol. 3. Ok. That's nice, but that's a really bad reason to cling to. Doesn't really matter.
  16. There is zero reason for Yadi to come here.
  17. It's hi8is so I would assume that's a forgone conclusion.
  18. Waiting until after things fall apart to be critical is part of the reason we are always in masses like this. Again, some of you guys never stop getting fooled by this FO. Which is silly because then you get to basically wait until the broken clock is right for the first time in a day and get excited because of it and fail to realize the clock is broken.
  19. I'm a deep stack type of player myself so I live for those grinds but they do take a lot out of you, especially if you don't make the bubble. I'm glad someone besides me is making poker analogies here because they are extremely apt for anything statistical, among other things.
  20. Hey, now. Don't be getting all analytical with those poker analogies. I already tried that. Apparently we determined that poker is 100% luck and is not in any way an apt analogy for anything to do with baseball or statistics! ?
  21. It's literally the same thing I said in the very first post I made.
  22. One player's decision dictates another? Everyone thinks the same? You absolutely cannot deny the way our organization is run is very bush league and to not think that will ever sway anyone's thinking is pretty ridiculous.
