Worst case scenario is Cespedes and sheets crushing spring. It will totally negate a Conforto move due to sox logic

Kopech without injuries already would be the ace of the staff. I don't understand why people have soured on him so much. He should be an exceptional #5

Anyone who thinks the astros are better...what have they done this off-season to prove that? They lost their best player, their key bullpen piece (to us) and havent added anyone significant....and their ace is starting year on IL. I dont see it.

I agree with this...does Hahn and the scouting team? That is my biggest worry is that Jerry will keep asking them...didn't we commit solid dollars to our cuban pipeline? This pressure will force a need to graduate quickly, and be THE excuse of not committing to outfield long term contracts.

what team in MLB would take an 18 mil starter in his last year and replace him because he "sucks ass"? Serious question. If the merits of needing another starter is not trusting Kopech and Crochet isn't stretched out, I totally get that...but because a starter had a bad season...they are not just going to magically find a replacement on the FA market until that money is cleared. He will be replaced next season after his money is cleared. This is how the White Sox operate...I don't get the outcry and anger. 2 years ago he was lights out. I think this year he lands somewhere inbetween and is a meh signing overall. But Wheeler's wife did this...Not Rick Hahn.
